CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2012 -2013

Bro u r right to one extent, however, as long as u r a canadian citizen, u have leverage, u can go be with ur spouse heck u can even apply if u r not even in canada ur self (read the immigration forms first, there is a whole section on it) as long as you can show strong ties or that you will be coming back to canada, thats all that counts... In this particular case she went for 9 came back and is working... No harm done... At the absolute worst she may get a second look at her case, but nothing to freak about. Although I do recommend ppl to play it as safe as possible, the less moving around(address change), or travel u do during ur sponsorship process the better...

If u as a sponsor are a PR card holder, then u better stay put in canada, as u have to remain here, although can still go visit ur spouse for 10-12 day stints once a while....

Please dont scare members without full knowledge... The immigration forms themselves reveal a lot of do's and do not's...

thnxx for letting me knw tht i dun have full knowledge as ur full of knowledege bro..so i shud remain silent as u can well define wats right n wats wrng,,,if for ur kind info,,chc or cic has ever read their own rules n regulations then they wudve always gone thru the process of FIFO(first in first out) but in reality trhts nt the case,,ppl frm 2010 n some frm 2009 even are stiil waiting for their process to be over n ppl frm 2011 have already got their visas or ar in last stages,,was this written on the regulations forms tht first come frist serve will be the criteria rahter than picking up random files n processing them,,n for ur kind info its nt abt citizen or pr holder,,i told u with my experince and all those memebrs who are here since 2009 n practical examples were also quoted to u..bt i thnk u dun knw tht there is no shorcut to experience nor ur rules forms can challange it..
rest its all ur choice..ur case ur life..i was just helping members by warning them tht not to repaet the same mistakes which seniors have done,,if u dunt want to learn frm them then all ur choice.

its not a thumb rule sis tht it is 6 months,,bt they say tht its nt gud if u live over 6 months or more...it can delay ur case..n sorry to say sis bt chc doesnt have any emotional feelinz for anyone..so they wont hear ur story of Umrah n any other thing...its just tht once u have applied u shud be really carefull in these kinda matters..why do u want ur case to be delayed n they ask u fro explanations without any reason..y do u want them to question u for nythng..im nt scaring u bt being a senior member i have to warn u tht nt to repeat he mistakes which we have done or other on the forum have done..
i hope ull nt be scared by my words bt its just a brotherly advice for ur fast processing,...rest ur all in my prayers n ill be happy to help u if u need any..

I aint no expert, nor r u, we can say nay or yey all we want but wats gona happen is in almightys hands... I have decent enough info and exp aswell... I didnt say u r wrong, just what u said didnt apply to her case... And most ur claims are for pr holders... One of my friends applied for his wife in 2010, he is a taxi driver, his wife just came 2 weeks ago... And he spent most of his time with her in pak... So why didnt his wifes case got reected or delayed heavily? (it was processed similar to all other 2010 cases)...

thank you for your advice. I agree, its better not to risk it. My family and I have always lived in Canada, so hopefully they wont have much of an issue with me inshAllah!

just curious, no malice intended ok... U can opt not to answer... Did u go to pak to get married? And how many trips u or ur spouse made? + if u ordered gmcs notes, did it delay ur case? Aur bhabhi ke liye koi surprise wagaira bhi tiyar kiya hai?

1. It varies, some ppl get it in a weeks time... Some close to a month... U r almost done in that aspect...

2. When u send passport through tcs, u r supposed to pay return shipping fee as well so they dispatch it back to u quickly... If u didnt pay for return shipping, expect a minor delay as they will use cheapest option available to send back to u, hence the delay...

Dont worry u r pretty much done once u send ur passports in

just write to the CIC explaining that you had to perform umra and there was a death in your family. and please get back to Canada! as great as Pakistan might be- nothing beats Canada! what a great country! CANADA ZINDABAD!
