Have all similar fates. They received separate remed request along with add docs and re-pcc. None followed by a ppr. Since May to Nov if any member was in this group their ppr was put on hold (for whatever reason). That being said, since members of these groups having been waiting for ppr since may (earliest), CHC shouldn't ask for a 3rd remed. That being said PPR for these groups must come within the next two months (max). To allow the applicant to travel prior to expiration to remed. If it rains ppr soon, it will rain on these two groups GOD willing.

Hello Dear, I checked mine and its the exact same numbers as yours and I have been waiting for PPR since June 2013 , remed + PCC and all requested documents have been submitted to them, no idea what is going on with CHC - ISB. thanks for pointing this out.

You guys are lucky. You atleast know ur remed is expiring soon so you will get PPR in the next few months. On the other hand there are people like me who didnt receive remed request and dont know how long its going to take to get to the finish line.

Folks,

For those that have received their passports back with visas..... my wife has told me that there were 2 copies of the landing forms... one for us... n one for them.... the copy that is for them has a space for her photograph while the second copy doesn't.... there was a photograph cut to the size of the space that she also found in the package.... also there was a second photograph which was normal passport sized.... my question is would it b safe for me to stick it back on?

The other thing is her date of birth was wrong on the landing forms although we had it corrected from them in the past.... could this cause us issues at time of landing?.... would the officer simply b able to cross it out n correct it?

I am one of the silent readers of this forum I applied for spouse visa on April 2013 it seems my application is also sent to New Delhi on Thursday I got this email from Canadian embassy in New Delhi saying to send following docs:

Proof of Payment of your Right of Permanent Resident Fee (landing fee) to our office in Mississauga or by your sponsor in Canada, if not already paid.
Submission of police clearance certificates for time spent in any country for a period of 6 months or more, if not already submitted.

I have supplied both of them when submitting the application. Should I get new police certificates and send them again or send them copy of old ones or just ignore the email since I already sent them these docs. Lastly if I have to send where do I send these docs Islamabad or New Delhi.

Groups are only assigned when your file is opened and they start to process your case... ususally after remedical...!

Salam all forum members May Allah help us all In Sha Allah.

I received a call on Friday Feb 14/14 from my MP in my area. He told me he spoke to MP Chris Alexander head of Immigration Canada. He told me he presented our case with all the info from Sept 2010 to present Feb 2014. I had given him copies of GCSM Notes, along with print out of my Pass Port entries and exits from Pakistan.

Also he told him CIC Islamabad had written false info about me saying I was Christian when we married in 2010 when in fact I was Muslim and had converted in 2006 Alhumdulilliah.

Then the age difference they CIC Islamabad wrote it was unheard of when in fact the Holy Prophet (PBUH) married when he was 25 and his wife was 40.

Also the culture difference they CIC Islamabad it was unheard of when in fact I'm a North American Indian and the cultures are almost identical.

My MP said I laid it out and put it in his hands and said this is a Valid Marriage and Genuine Relationship with a Visa Officer saying so. He the MP said you had better do something as this woman is getting ready to move to Peshawar Pakistan.
