CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2012 -2013

Hello guys! Does anyone know what's the email address to schedule an appointment for the re-medical with IOM ISLAMABAD? Every time I call on the given number 051 111 466 472 it goes to the IVR machine. Which says to schedule your appointment through email.

Bro call them first thing in the morning at 8 am Pak time.... someone will pick up but they will still tell u to send them an email.... they usually respond with a day or two.... the email is:

canmedpk@iom.int

if u listen to the recording it tells u another address but apparently thats the wrong one.... the one I wrote above is the correct one.... The first reponse u get from them will request u for additional info that they need about ur file.... n then in response to that they will send u the appointment confirmation..... in our case they sent us a confirmation within 2 days.... hope this helps... best of luck!.... send the email as soon as possible!

I sent the documents in July 2013 after a year of applying

In Jan 2013 I sent pictures/ phone records/ boarding passes from my trip to Pak in Sept 2012/ western union receipts all in a nice package... I sent it all to Islamabad but wut i didn't know then was that my application hadn't even reached islamabad yet n had been sitting in Ottawa.... just a couple weeks ago my wife received back all originals from that package.... which leads me to believe that they only put that package together with the rest of my application a complete 1 year after i submitted it..... so in conclusion there's really no point to sending updates to these guys unless they request it

I dunno where u heard they're not working cuz they are.... recently ppl have received their passports back.... n some ppl have received requests for additional information n some have received remedicals.... so they r very much in business!

Yes u r right , I sent them my daughter birth certificate 7 months back but they didnot even reply me , my daughter is now 9 months old , never met her father , just on Skype they see each other ,

Hi I have few questions if you senior guys can answer.

1. Can a Canadian citizen apply for her spouse if she live with him abroad?

2. She has not worked in Canada in the past as she was student, now done with school. Can still she apply?

3. Her husband is self employed has business there would that help if she has no job?

4. If she get a job there and her income is lease than what she would make here in Canada, would that cause any problem?

5. If all the above worked and is time to apply from abroad, how she will pay the application fee from there as there is not credit card?

Hello Everyone, i have been a silent reader for a few months.
I applied in Nov 2013 for my husband. In the same month I got an AOR and a letter to tell me that my case had been sent to Islamabad. From reading posts on this forum i knew not to expect to hear from them again until atleast a year so I was not expecting it today when i recieved a email from CIC on Jan, 27, 2014.

Based on this letter my case has been transferred to New Dehli, and NO this is not any sort of mistake as the letter clearly states:

"This notice replaces previous communications received detailing the routing the Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s).
The Application for Permanent Residence for your relative(s) has been forwarded to this office as part of an effort to improve service. All efforts will be made to process applications equitably, but it may be several months before your application is reviewed for further processing. Your family member(s) will be contacted by the visa office when the application is ready for processing. "

I am speechless. Does this mean my case will now be following the average case processing time for new dehli office? I cannot believe how fast this is happening.

Did this happen to anyone else before??

I found,out today thru my mp tht isb sent my wife (applicant )an email in mid jan to send thm pcc and add forms but we never got any email frm.isb... Not in spam or ne other folder... Wat shud i do now ? I hsv askd mp to req isb to resend the email but wat other steps can i take ?

ure the first person that I've seen to post on here that ur file was transferred to New Delhi.... but there are others that have posted that their files were sent to London.... u have a valid question tho n I'm not sure wut the answer is.... but the processing times they have posted are not really accurate cuz its based on their past processing n is not really a good indicator of their future performance
