CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2012 -2013

Dear All Assalamoalikum,

I need some information, today i have received medical letter from CHC Islamabad for me and my mother (Family Class sponsorship). It is written in the letter that we should contact a doctor in Barkat Market Lahore and submit medical report within 60 days.

Can anybody tell me what will be the procedure and what kind of tests they will take. Thanks in advance

I'm reading through my GCMS notes and seems like they only sent all my files and photos to Islamabad in November 2013, a whole year after I filed my application. So ridiculous! Criminality, eligibility, secutiry none of it has been started. This is so frustrating! Definitely getting in contact with my MP

That seems to be the norm.... mostly all cases go through the same procedure.... from wut i've understood of the process they scan the our files and send that to islamabad while the actual physical file stays in ottawa... when CHC-ISB is ready for it then the physical file gets sent to them.... same thing happened with my file.... it sat in Ottawa for over a year catching dust

Contacting the MP will not b of n e help.... they will not help u most likely.... I've really been disappointed with these MP's.... they'll shove their aides to talk to u n the aides try to get u off their backs... if u request to talk directly to the MP they don't listen

I received called from ISB , a person asked me to submit Police Certificate in next 30 days & sent me re-medical request which i received after 24hr from received call on my email.

Asyed, u should get your Police certificate ready in next 20 days, if it is husband case !!!! as my timeline is almost same as your.

Yes you can send police certificate voluntary, so many people will suggest you not to send until ask.

That's horrible!!!
I'm anxiously awaiting my notes to see if they say the same thing or has their been some activity. I applied for husbands case Sept 2012 and no re med req as of yet.
Why don't you voluntarily send re med and pc?

I don't think they will allow u to do the remedical at the IOM office cuz they might ask to see the requesting email from CHC-ISB.... I'm not 100% sure if they will ask for it.... maybe ppl who've done their medicals from the IOM office can shed a brighter light on this....

IMO they don't always ask for a pcc so its better not to send that voluntarily n just wait for them to ask for it... u could start applying for it... cuz apparently it takes a while for them to send it to u

Yeah, I really hope that isn't the case though. Did your notes have the Paper file history? Mine says Mississauga>Registry>Ottawa>in Transit>Islamabad>received . This means the actual physical file is in Islamabad?

The dilemma I am going through is getting original documents back from CIC after completion of case. I called Mississauga office and was advised to send emails to both Case Processing Office in Canada and Visa Office in Islamabad to inquire and request back original documents.

Just now I received a response from Case Processing Office that they dont keep the originals and I should be contacting the Visa Office. So, it looks like my only hope is CHC-ISB response.

What are my options if CHC-ISB comes back empty handed.

u cn do remedical voluntariy bt ill suggest u to wait for them to ask u fr tht i did my medical 2 months ago right after 22 months of my application and lucky me i got medical request right after next day of my medical ..

maybe it wasn't so lucky.... I've seen others post on here that they got their medical requests day after they decided to do it voluntarily..... that seems like a trend to me.... they must've seen that u went n did the medical n decided to send the request to cover themselves....

The due dates don't mean anything. Ignore them.

Funny. I got my originals about six months ago. I'm pretty sure they came from Cpp-O and CHC-ISB. If they both openly deny it (meaning they both don't have your originals). That means, they sent out your originals to the wrong person (sometimes people never sent those docs back to immigration canada). The only option would be sending a complaint to immigration canada and see what they have to say about it...

My spouse received the same call from a CHC-ISB in october of 2013. They asked for pcc to be sent withing a 30days period (Sent it in a week). Been three months to that call, five to remed. They work in mysteries.
