Application sent to Mississauga on June 25, 2012.
waiting to hear back..

I finally got through after calling like 20 times..

She told me that she is unable to find me in the data base, hence to give her payment receipt# and Tracking#. After i gave her that, she said your application was received on June 25, 2012 but for some reason is not processed yet. She will email mississauga to process.

I think they are working on July 4, 2012 cases. How long does it take for them to send an email? Is this normal wait time...? i am still worried.

Mudaddar, my application was received on 18th July and i already got approved as sponsor on 4th september. Maybe they misplaced your file and just realized it?

But it says..they are on working on July 4th cases....how can they do yours already?...but nontheless Congrats! Hopefully they work on mine now.

Is that date on CIC processing website accruate?.

Just a question for anyone who has their app at CPC-Ottawa. Have you received any mail from CPC-O? I'm just curious if they send the letter to CHC-I, then they mail it to the applicant. I find that sending mail via canada post to Pakistan is very hit and miss.

No word, but I recently spoke to the call center and the agent mentioned that the timeline for CPP-O is much shorter than CHC-I (Hopefully it means the process will be a few months quicker now)

since urs is end of 2011 case.. and call centre ppl tell us ottawa timeline is much shorter.. how come u havent heard anything yet and ur online status hans't changed ? did u ask abt status update to the call centre ppl ?

Good question, but it's only been 9 months since I received my AOR letter... Inshallah my wife will get her visa sooner then the avg of 16-18 months most people on the forum are taking.

hi eveyone,
my application filed on feb 2012 CPC mississuaga
and my husband got approval from CPC missiuaga at the end of may 2012
then i got AOR from CHC islamabad at the end of june 2012.(they asked few additional documents which i send them at the start of july 2012)

Now i am waiting for their next contact. i consult with some one and they told me after getting AOR from islamabad they contact u after 3 to 6 months. i dont know when they again review my file

what is ottawa project?? i dont get anything from there??

Ottawa pilot seems to be a new addition. According to agents it will reduce time of spousal sponsership. However, it relatively new. No one really has a concrete answer to it yet.
