If you want to really know where your files is you can email Ottawa pilot they will tell you if your files is transferred to Islamabad. Because when CIC sent you email about your file transferred to Islamabad but actually its not it will be in Ottawa for about 3 to 4 months then you will receive email from Islamabad office stating your file received to us and is in process. This happen to my file and some other members in this forum.

agree i email them last week and today i got this reply from ottawa

Your file is being processed by the visa office in Islamabad.
It is part of a work sharing arrangement Ottawa has with Islamabad. While our office has part of your physical file, your application will be processed by an officer in Islamabad, according to the processing times of the Islamabad office. An agent from that office will contact you when more information is necessary.

what is this tracking numbers?? some 1 plz explain me i m not getting this properly a number of times i saw posts related to tracking no.s? but so confused?? ::) ........ secondly what does CHC 1 means???

CHC-I = Canadian High Commission- Islamabad
.
Tracking numbers are for the shipments that issued by CHC-I to the people living in Pakistan.All shipments are no related to immigration / Visa Application but mostly are for the application.Rest ALLAH knows well

i applied for gcms notes, found out that physical file is in ottawa so i figured out that if ill send my proofs to ottawa they will scan it to islamabad and attach them to my physical file which is sittin in ottawa. so i would say since you are a recent applicant your physical file will be in ottawa and islamabad wont open it until next year (the date will be the same as the date you got your approval on) so mail it to ottawa and then email them.
if you just to be on the safe side just mail them and ask i would like to send in additional proofs. but keep in mind they might end up saying that if we need anything we will contact you
