CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2012 -2013

I'm sponsoring my wife and we received a letter yesterday from CHC- Islamabad. The letter includes the following things that they requested:

- Please submit updated police certificate...
- Explanation whether you and your spouse have lived together as husband and wife. If yes, please provide dates of cohabitation.
- Explanation why "Rukhsati" has not taken place yet, and when it is planned to be held.

At the time of applying, I sent them Nikah ceremony pics, some pictures of us being together after nikah, few chat logs/call history, money transfer reciepts etc. The reason we didn't perform rukhsati is that I live in Canada so I wanted rukhsati to be done in Canada. And I am still studying in canada so we planned to wait a little longer. Although, we were planning to perform rukhsati in December but we got reply from CHC- Islamabad earlier than that. I am still sticking with our plan to go with my family in December to get the Rukhsati done insha Allah.

Any suggestions about how should I proceed in responding to this letter?

Just explain them what you have planed and stick to December because that's when we get holidays after exams. So that's the time to go otherwise you would have to take a semester off (I would say mention this somewhere the reason not going before or after December is school). You guys have not lived together, as the dikhati is not done. InshaAllah it will be fine just explain them you plan and the reasoning behind it. Remember to answer just to the point.

Here I was thinking the process will take only another 6 months or so :'( but now that I'm giving it a second look, it will take longer..I want to cry :'(

its more then 18 months its decision made on my hubby e _case u have to checked yours .......bu file number.....

I'm in the same boat as you! Nikkah only but planned ruksati for January. When did you apply and what's your timeline? It is better to write them back indicating your plans for December. I am sending them additional documents next month InshaaAllah indicating my marriage plans.

Hey my friend was a nikah applicant and she was asked to provide the same in June 2012. They scheduled rukhsati for Jan 2013 and she sent her invitation cards, marriage lawn bookings and other marriage preparation stuff details. Then she sent another bundle in Feb 2013 with pictures of the event, honeymoon etc and also said that Valima was to be held in Canada because the groom's family and hence social circle was there. She had to live at her parents house for 5 months after her wedding till she got her visa in June 2013.

I think it all depends on the nature and personality of MP's office staff. Some of them are very nice and helpful while some of them do not like to do anything in their business hours.

amazing...today i recieved a reply to an email that i sent to the mp's office 6-7 weeks ago - asking me to call them.

in the meantime i had already visited the mp's office 3 weeks ago and the lady there told me file is in the interview queue.

... I said what the heck and called the mp's office and I spoke with the same lady who i spoke with in person 3 weeks ago. obviously she didnt recognize me and told me a totally different story today!

she said said my file was being reviewed...and i asked her inocently was it in the "interview queue" and she said no it is being reviewed normally..and you should wait and come see me in december! i was like hain ji...???

last time i saw her she lectured me about the interview process lol....

so this proves it...they are full of s$hite...

but still because of this bi$cth i spent three weeks in hell!!!

Okay someone suggested me to write down my case info, and get opinions for successful Nikah Cases from here. So i need as much help as possible from all you lovely people!

Keep in mind, that i do understand some people have to go for a rukhsuti. Which i am aware of. But my main concern right now is getting approved without having to go back. Because i am saving up for me and my husband. and spending thousands of dollars to satisfy people who are out to make people's lives a living hell is just unacceptable.

So i need as much help as possible from all you lovely people!

Let me explain my situation.

In February i married the love of my life, He is also my cousin, (which i know 100% won't effect my case). Our love story began in July.2008. Since July 2008 to now. i have ALL my phone bills. I have text messages from the previous 2 years. i also have emails, gift receipts. which will all be attached with my application, I have also mentioned in my application that we will have a rukhsuti done AFTER my husband gets his visa, because it will be very hard to stay in distance. With my application i am also submitting , my nikah invitation, nikah clothes receipts, (bridal and groom), Exchanging of ring receipts. and other e-cards as well. I also have job letters from my husbands work (in pakistan) , school certificates, all of the required documents plus extras.

I do work full time here, and i am a canadian born citizen. I have explained to them what i plan to do when my husband comes, also have provided a detailed job letter from my employment, indicating that i CAN support him when i'm here. I have also mentioned that i do drive here as well.

I am going to submit my application in about 2 weeks. I am a nikah only case, and i have been praying and doing lots of dua's that i will be lucky enough to get approved. Like some cases.

If anyone can please give me anymore ideas, suggestions of what else i can submit to help these picky government people approve us, that would be greatly appreciated. If you can pass on usernames of people i can discuss it with, that would help too.

Hello , add ur nekah pictures , at least 20 pictures which u both took with ur family members , the places where u both went for fun add those pictures too with the tickets of the parks, and the important thing ur return ticket with pakistan visa , make sure u add all these too , best of luck
