Salam,

For those of you who have been told by Lawyers (liars) not to order GCMS notes, or check status on Ecas too often...it will have adverse effect on your case...it’s all nonsense.

I have ordered GCMS 3 times already, MP has gotten me an update like 4 times, and I myself have emailed couple of times to Islamabad...and I check Ecas status every couple of weeks. This will not harm your case at all. It actually might trigger them to work on your case, if they have forgotten about it.

I wouldn’t recommend annoying someone too much, but you have to right to know the status, and thus request these things. Lawyers have no magic wand; they probably do as much as we can do ourselves. I did my application and paid a lawyer few dollars to proof read it. That was the end of the lawyer from my case.

Hello,

My husband is in Afghanistan, and as I said its almost been a year since the processing of my application... a few questions that probably those who have sponsored from Afghanistan will be more aware of... when medical and passport are requested, how (given the instability of mail postage) can my husband send those to Pakistan, without worrying that they will get lost in the mail?

How have you guys dealt with this matter?

Do they even hav a criteria? I hav no idea how they r processing cases...i hav read sum nikkah cases that got processed in a year. And sum complete ruksati+valima couples r waiting for so long....

Ours is also love marriage...we hav a son who is canadian born. So u cant even imagine how it is like living apart for us. Still we r waiting. Its been 2 months since hubby sent his pp but no reply from chc. Its super duper frustrating :(

Just to b on the safe side its better to hav rukhsati done. I know it wil b harder to live after that i can totally understand as i m goin through this torture. But better safe then sorry.

But seriously all this is so confusing as they hav no set criteria :s 2012 cases r gettin done n 2011 r waiting.

I hope urs n everyone on this forum gets their process done smoothly...ameen.

Ameen! and for you too!. Its just very expensive to go back and forth. Canada to Pakistan + having a rukhsuti is a good $3000 dollars itself. if not more. its just very hard for me to go back right now. I'm just praying and hoping that i will receive a good response with just my nikah case. i have provided lots of attached documents. so their is no reason they should doubt our marriage . I'm keeping positive. and hoping to be accepted without the rukhsuti. Dua's can do a wonder............

thanks....and yes u r rite its very expensive.
Allah hum sab ki mushkil asaan karey ameen.

AOA Mudassar,

Good suggestions, i have almost same time line as u have , i am totally agree with you that Lawyers (liars) can not do any thing to get the cases processed from CIC they just give false hope & when they get irritated so they start giving extra timeline that it will take 31 months

Please confirm have you got re medical request?

First of all you, he can't send his passport by mail because it's against the international law to send a passport a cross the boarder. CHC Islamabad will not accept it. But he can go to Peshawar and than he can send it via mail by using TCS.
Regarding you medical, it will be send by the doctor to Indian and you shouldn't be worry about it.

I hope it helps you some how... good luck

HI Madam, here is what i did, when I got my passport request and re-medical through mail in Kabul, I had to first do my re-medical here in Kabul and the doctor sent it via DHL courier to New Delhi office, then I had to take my passport and photocopy of my re-medical form signed by the doctor to Islamabad and sent it to CHC-I through TCS courier, your husband can't and send the passport from Afghanistan to Pakistan and CHC-I does not accept it, there other thing to keep in mind is that your husband needs to give CHC-I an address inside Pakistan so that they can send the passport with visa to that address inside Pakistan, hope your husband gets his PPR soon and eventually his visa, please do pray for me and everyone else waiting for their cases to be finalized, :)
