CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2012 -2013

Hi Everybody !

I am December 2012 applicant (Husband Case)
Submitted our file to CPC-M on November 20, 2012
Have my first medical done on July 2012 ( Very early )
Today on August 27, 2013 I received a Re-medical request by e-mail

I haven't sent any additional proof of contact or whatsoever

Wondering what is next... !

Can anyone tell me ..what does 2nd AOR mean?
I've read about it many a times but don't get it :-/

When u send your application to CIC and your receive your first AOR, when you get approved as a sponsor and your second AOR is when they starting working on your file in Islamabad and they send you a letter with a new file number.

The Islamabad Office is not affected with Strike. However, the strike alert is a standard alert showing on every CIC website.

I just called Canadian High Commission Islamabad from Afghanistan and I asked the person attending my call about the STRIKE, he said they are not on Strike and if I want information about my visa I should fax or email them, ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

Then two days later,another email about the approval as a sponsor ..They mentioned that they have sent our application to ISL...
Now ..point is ..nothing from ISL since Sep,28,2012.!
Do u mean that we r going to receive our Secind AOR when ISL starts working and issues us a new file number...???????

Salam, no the first approval and the client id is all you will be receiving until they contact you in the future In Sha Allah

Why don't you order notes? It is the easiest way to find out what has already been done to your application.

Did u ask them about it through email or they just sent it by themselves?

So my MP got back to me again, saying that oh your file was transferred to Islamabad on April 22nd 2013, so it's way too early for you to make any inquiry (add 31 months to April 22nd 2013), I kinda lost it and I told him that I have a letter from CPC-M that my file was transferred in September 2012, so he told me to scan the letter and send him a copy via email and he'll find out more information for me. THIS IS RIDICULOUS! First he tells me add 31 months to September 2012, and now April 2013? I am on the verge of losing my mind.
