If the file has been transferred from Ottawa to Isl, what does that mean? We sent additional documents to Ottawa pilot and got a reply that our file is no more with them.

I have two line from day 1 on my ecase account.
Application received on xxxxxxx
Medical Received on xxxxxxx
They have already written medical received on the same date of application received.

I think there is a confusion. Those who sent the medical with the application, their eCAS would show the following:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on mmm dd, yyyy.

2. Medical results have been received.

However, those who submitted their spousal sponsorship without medical will have only one line:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on mmm dd, yyyy.

Once they submit their medical 2nd line is added.

JazakAllah and yes inshaaAllah hopefully ) I want to ask that will they forward our additional documents to Islamabad themself? Like original boarding passes, pictures, bills etc?

I submitted the medical with the application, but eCAS shows only 1 line. Should I be worried?

If I were you, I would be contacting CIC or Health Management Branch in New Delhi, India to find out. Sometimes it is misplaced and later causes delays in application processing. You must have the tracking number of medical receipt. Here is the email address if you like to write them to inquire:

re-DELHI.MEDICAL @ international.gc.ca

Dont forget to write your File number in subject line when writing to them.

I had submitted my first medical with my application but for 11 months my ECASE only had one line Application Received and we received your application on XXXXXXX, as soon as i sent my re-med a new line got added in ECASE which said Medicals results have been received, unpredictable CHC

According to my GCMS notes, my paper file shows Ottawa.... that means my file is still in Ottawa? Its been 21 months now n no reply May Allah have mercy on us :'( nov dec 2011 n jan 2012 r having a really tough time May Allah shower his mercy on all the applicants who are waiting for remed... PLLLLLLEASSEEEEE CHC are we not humans?? why are u doing this with us only? They should follow a FIFO method ... pick n choose strategy is applicable to people who do not follow rules n regulations... Didnt expect this from educated n civilized side :/

Definitely something is not going on properly in CHC Islamabad. Especially there is something about 2011 applicants but only God knows what are they doing.

Well if you received a request for re-med than you know they received it. How else would they know it is expired in first place. Either they did not bother updating eCAS or results were not attached to file. As soon as they got fresh results, they updated eCAS.

as you say they didn't bother updating eCASE that is why I said CHC is always unpredictable coz sometimes they bother updating and sometimes they don't bother updating eCASE!
