hii just got some additional documents requests from chc isb......is it good sign?when m gonna get my passport n re medical......but they have sent this letter to my husband in Canada instead of me.......really don't make any sense.....let me know how much time its gonna take after submitting addinal documents......n then to get re medial n visa request........

additional documents letter is sent to both applicant and sponsor... its a good sign... when u send them additional documents, make sure u have strong evidences to prove your case... and best of luck to you and others who got these requests along with those who are still awaiting any news at all...

i have sent them today n i provide them each n everything they have ask for.......but only my husband got this letter...n do you know how much i have wait more......?

on avg expect ur ppr and returned in max 5-7 months... individual cases vary...

5 to 7 months more????.......ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh this is too tiring........may ALLAH bring this happiness of getting visa on everyone soon...aameen

like i said not necessarily it applies to all... if they open ur additional documents within a week great, it will be fast, if they sit and rot there for a month or two... well... then if they ask for interview or remed alone (but i am observing that remed's are no longer going to New Delhi, so that will bring the timeline down)... they ask for your passport, and then at times return it with visa in 2 weeks, and then take 2-3 months at times... so its all up in the air... its better to sit now with a 5-6 month time frame in head and if it lasts that much, you will be mentally ok (although we dont want it to be that long), however if it gets done earlier, you will be pleasantly surprised and happy... on the other side, if u bank on gettign ur pp stamped with visa in 2 months and it takes 5-6 you will give ur self tension and sorrow needlessly... just go with the flow ... you are almost there... tell your better half in Pakistan to start preparing for the big move...

My eCase status changed to decision made and says this "We sent you a letter on May 17, 2013 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us". What do they mean?

They said in email that they sent me on May 17, 2013 that your file transferred to Islamabad.

So I want to know that what is the next step CPC Mississauga will take? Will they contact Islamabad embassy or Canadian Embassy first? And after how long they will contact me?

in about 2 months (or whatever is the ongoing time frame) they will make the initial decision on the sponsor (i believe your wive)... whether she is clear to sponsor you or not... they usually email this to the sponsor along with file number etc and will tell you where your file is headed... once you get the email (it can be on the same day you hear about sponsor being approved or on separate day) that your file has been transferred to isl/ott, that is your AOR... after that in current day and time its roughly 12-13 months time that your file will be first opened for initial processing... so its a long game, wait patiently...

congratz, u guys have been approved to sponsor... wait for the letter to get ur case id's... and wait for aobut 12-13 months for initial review in ISL...
