First you were asking for help in filling forms, now you are looking to hire a consultant : I would highly suggest to make up your mind, otherwise you are wasting your(and your wife's) time. PM me what kind a help you need with forms.

Yes, I've heard of some cases being rejected due the "no intention to settle in canada" excuse.

Senior members can correct me if I am wrong, if your husband is Canadian citizen then he can live outside of Canada while the sponsorship is being done but if he is a PR then there is a time restriction. Also keep in mind sometimes there could be a potential rejection letter waiting for you because you have been outside of Canada for too long "no intention to settle in Canada" some bull**** like that. Consult an immigration consultant to be a 100$ sure though.

Well to be fair it isnt an "excuse" if you do not stay, you dont work, when you dont work you dont pay taxes, hence the govt loses money. But if you have come to Canada and you dont even show that you are willing to stay then I guess they have the right to reject.

We have brought this on to ourselves, people use to land, take PR card, then go back home, not get their passport stamp for entry in Pakistan and then come back with a new entry/exit stamp and apply for citizen ship. All this increase in time/checks have put in place cause of all the fraud stuff people have been conning the govt for.

salam guys, Allah ke karam se we got letter from cic stating my wife have meet the requirement for sponsoring me etc etc and that my file is being transferred to Islamabad..
so that means we got our AOR? and luckily it came within a month, they received our file on 22nd January and today 15th febuary we got this.
so kindly tell me what would happen next? they will start contacting me?

GCMS notes can be order under acces of information right a canadain has your spouse can do it (sponser)

Hi All

I am not new to the forum as I have been reading it on almost daily basis to increase my knowledge area and update myself about new rules and regulations and off course the real time scenario that people are facing in all this process.

I have few questions that I need to the point and authenticated answers, not on someone's personal judgment; hope you guys understand my intention. my concerns are as following by 2 means:

1. what if a wife expects a baby in few months and they file their case for sponsorship now, husband will be sponsoring the case before delivery of the baby. Will it add time/delay in processing of Visa if they get their baby delivered and then file their case during the ongoing process of wife case?

2. What if they do not apply their case now and wait for the baby delivery and then case the file of wife and dependent in the same file?


what will be the timeline difference between both of the cases? which will take more processing time ?

I filed my aplication at the end of september 2011 and my hubby received a letter in backhome requesting additional documents April 2012
