Yes, he filled his application in feb 2012. Sametime as me. It went to ottawa and then in january 2013 he got a letter in the mail stating of the transfer to isb...

I feel sad visiting "2009 -2010 Timeline" There are people waiting since 3 years how can we be hopeful within 1 year or should we ?

I Think all the applicants who's file transfer in nov2011-to feb 2012 should apply GSM notes,,so they should get to know wht ottawa has done till now

My Mp got back to me in the mid of Jan 2013 and said that my file hasn't touched yet and sitting in Ottawa.

I know I see that too and feel the same way as you feel but don't lose hope, Hazrat Ali Saheb says "those who lose hope easily are shaitaan followers" so Allah (swt) is great just have faith and don't compare urself with applicants who are waiting for 3 years. It all depends

Picked this up from a member in 2012 forum (I don't know if MP says the truth or not)

got a call from my MP's office.

Here are a few key takeaways from our conversation:

- The approximate timeline for Pakistani applications in Ottawa is 18 months (Stage 2).
- First review will be done around the 15 month mark.
- All correspondence has to be conducted with Ottawa and not Islamabad.

That's for my application: Submitted - Nov '11. Stage 2 started - Jan '12.

TCS charged about Rs. 2500. If you used DHL or Fedex it might be expensive. Although it seems like TCS is using DHL services as my package had DHL envelope as well as TCS.

It was too late before I got replies from you, and just got Robed by DHL. It cost us 12,500 RPS (about 120 Dollars) , that package was about 2 KG. But still it is too expensive, I think it include Zardari Jagga tax. There was about 2000 extra for fuel charges, and 1800 for GST tax. I don't understand why on earth it was so expensive. I just checked DHL here and to send 5 KG packet (cloths etc not document which are cheaper to send) it will cost me all included 100 Dollars.

Now I hope I will receive it on time and in good condition as I am stress because of all original documents in it.
