Because I haven't received any communications from the visa office to let me know that the file has been transferred. Also, I've heard and read on this forum, that if the file is transferred to London visa office, their (London's VO) timeline is quicker than Islamabad's. Therefore, based on this analysis, I believe my file has been in Islamabad VO for 20 months.

I didn't say my file was in London. It is still in Islamabad.

Rather than guessing, it's best to send an email to both London and Islamabad and inquire about the location of the file. Meanwhile, you can also order gcms notes to know for sure about your file's location.

I have sent an email to London office, I will send it to Islamabad as well. I've ordered notes last week. So far, there hasn't been a response.
