Acknowledgment of Receipt of Application in Islamabad May 28 2012. We were asked to send more pictures documents and etc.

Undergo medical examination cause the first examination was expired. August 13, 2012

Currently the file is with a immigration officer.

i applied in oct 2011 n u in july 2011
my file was transfered in dec 2011 while urs in sept 2011
i submittd requested docs in july 2012 n u in may 2012
i did my re-medical in oct 2012 n u in august 2012
now i expect dat my file wod b wid da visa officier as well.....fingers crossed....wish both of us gud luck
plz leme knw when u get ppr frm embassy...n i will let u knw as soon as i hear frm them inshallah

n one thng how u knw ur files wid da immi officier? where u informed about it or u had askd them its whereabouts??

I got an email notification in July 2012 stating I am approved as a sponsor and my application is transferred to Islamabad for processing my husband's part. To this date my ecase does not mention anything about medical either.

my ecas doesnt show medicals recieved. anyone else in the same boat?

I hope receiving an email notification from CPP -Ott is not a bad sign of being sent to a dumping ground.

Ottawa pilot project

Cpp-O is a alternative project. To reduce the burdens on visa offices such as (Islamabad, Buffalo, Istanbul, Cairo ect). It only does limited things after approval of stage 1. It provides the original visa offices with background checks and verifies originality of case. It is not a visa offices that will stamp a visa for you (it can't legally). It has to be Islamabad (the country of applicant has final say). It can't validate Nadra, Educational docs, Police certificate, birth certificate, Marriage papers. (Only Pakistani immigration has write amount of contact to do so). So what is Ottawa? Its like one forum member told me when i was new ( i didn't want to believe him). He said it's a "dumping ground". Ottawa states its a 12 month process??. Few members from november 2011 are in Ottawa aswell (been 13 months) no reply??!!. The matter of fact is visa will only be stamped by original visa office. Passport request will be sent by pakistan (you never know how long they take to do that).

P.S The only thing, Im saying this is i got my hopes high about ottawa (along with other members) and so far its been depressing.

yes i know sister ab dekho mai b tu without wife without my cute son reh raha hoon na? and u know what he is now 7months old and he is start crawling

So i trust in Allah SWT and soon we will be together and I believe if even a one small piece of rice is there in Canada written in my fate to be eaten then Allah will take me there to eat that , no any other living being can eat that caz that is mine. So trust in Allah SWT hopefully Insha'Allah everyone will get good news very soon.

so what avg time cic is taking to complete the process? on their site they have mentioned 26 months for Pakistan processing and 35 days for Canada processing..
