Hey I didn't get a remedical request yet. I just got a request for additional documents in Jan,2014.!

How do you know when your file transferred to London??
My husband also got additional documents request in January 2014 since then still we are waiting for remedical n passport request.

LVO didnt send me any email nor Islamabad sent any email about the transfer ..I read on the forum about it and I myself enquired about the location of my file in March and they sent me that generic email that they have my file ..

There is no point in getting a driving license now because you need at least 12 months of driving experience to be eligible for G2 license without waiting the mandatory 8-12 months after G1.

You will be wasting your money if you decide to appear for the test in KHI and you will be wasting a lot more of your money if you do decide to get it "some other way"

When you arrive in Canada, give your G1 [written test] wait 8-12 months and then give your G2 and then G.

Yes, you will need to wait the 8-12 month period because even if you get the Pakistani license now you do not have 12 months of experience, which starts from the day you get your Pakistani license. Just wait that time and practice meanwhile so you don't have issues during your G2 test.

Hey can u please please share ur experience regarding ur interview.if u don't mind asking me did u found out why were u in interview queue and when did they inform u about the exact date as ur interview was on June 17th I guess..!

however one of my friend got waive full of waiting period almost and he got his full license in 1 week as he cleared road test on 1st attempt though he made his pakistani license just 1 day before his flight
my suggestion would b to have your home license if your in hurry to get canadian driving license

just start preparation for G1 test its very easy from nowards (Practice tests are available on internet) so you will b able to give quick test once after u get PR card in canada and you will have your G1 license on the same day then you can take driving classes from some institute these classes also reduces some waiting period to get road test for full license

FOSS NAI is just a default text by the system before the visa officer's comment ... in other words its nothing concerning us. What follows after FOSS NAI is what you should be concerned with.

i have not received any reply from IOM . NET regarding medical checkup..i mailed at canmedpk @ iom.int its been a week now what should i do?
