Actually in my case only my wife name was mentioned on birth certificate as I don't have Canadian Insurance number but later on we made the other birth certificate with my wife and my name. So London office want the explanation and pictures of mine with my daughter so I sent them in end of May,2014 and now I got medical request only...

Did they asked like a "few pix of you and your sponsor together with your baby? And it doesnt matter if u hv rcvd remed only. Atleast u rcvd inshaAllah within few days u will rcv ppr1-2

Yes, but I don't have me and my sponsor pictures together with our daughter as my wife lost the camera when she was moving to Canada. So luckily I have some snaps in my mobile with my daughter only and not with my sponsor. So I only sent them me and my daughter pics (8-10 Pics)

You can send additional docs to your visa office but for re-med you will need the IMM1017 form that is sent by CIC to take along during the medical. Follow up with an email stating that you haven't received remed request yet even though it is mentioned in your notes.

1) no you can't do it by yourself, they will send you your medical form imm1017 with printed particulars of the applicant and IME no will be allotted.

2) if they are satisfied with your marriage then I suggest you don't ned to send any additional docs until they ask.

I am an august 2012 applicant. Haven't received anything yet. The online status says " Application received". My lawyer said that all files are now transferred over to London and that there are no files in Islamabad. He haven't received any email stating that it has moved over. He wouldn't let me order notes as according to him there is nothing wrong with my file and its just that the files are transferred over to London and its going to take sometime and that it could come any day now. I wanted to know if there's a way to find out exactly when my file was transferred over to London without ordering notes?

Until unless your lawer also order notes on your
behalf, he will never know that u have ordered
notes.
So go ahead and order notes urself and dont tell to ur lawer.
We also did the same thing. We kept on asking our
lawer to order notes but he always ignored us.
Then we started ordering on our behalf and ALHAM DU LILLAH
now we know better about our case then our lawer.
In short having lawer is a waste of money and time.

I have sent my passport to VPU(LDN) Islamabad for visa issuance on 6th August, 2014 which was received by Mr Wasif On reception at CHC ISB, anyone has any idea how much CHC ISB is taking to issue the Visa
