CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2012 -2013

I would add 11 months since the time the file was received by London but keep an eye out for those quarterly updates ... CHC-London's timeline is bound to increase from 11 months.

Currently it seems they are processing the September-October 2012 cases (issuing re-meds, schedule A, re-PCC requests) so if they work at the pace of 1 month per new monthly applications, I suspect applicants from November 2012 may hear in August, December 2012 may hear in September, January 2013 cases may hear in October, so on so forth ... some exceptions apply since a couple of January 2013 applicants have already had re-med, re-PCC, interviews, etc so the first-in, first-out policy is certainly out of the context.

In conclusion, no expected time period ... just qismat ... bas jab qismat mein likha hai ... Wallah ho aalam.

If they did not ask for PHEP info. (Photographs, Height, Eye colour, Passport) then no ... this is not PPR 1.

As i filed my application in May 2013 and AOR in june 2014. I contacted to LVO last month and they told me that my file is in London now. Medical has been expired in April 2014. Now according to your Knowledge when should i hear something from CHC. Also i did not receive my originals back yet. Reply please. Thanks

Guys need help regarding the Reception question in IMM5490? I recently got my Nikah done in karachi, but no reception and no rukhsati.

My wife is still studying and she will finish her degree in 06/2015. Please advise me is it a reasonable answer?

FYI, all of my family members live in Canada except my wife.

Due to relationship problem I had withdrawn my previous sponsorship app (2012).

Anyways since then I had a birth of a second baby (One is Canadian and the other baby is waiting on the Cnd Citizenship certificate) and now again applied in Feb 2014 (SAME MARRIAGE AND SAME APPLICANT), The file transferred to LVO on first week of May 2014.

Yesterday when I checked E-case (Under the file number NOT under client ID "UCI"). They were showing status of both files (PAST WITHDRAWAL APP + RECENT APP). I thought that they wanted to see through the both files which I assumed is fine by me.

As a habit of checking my E-case at least once a day. When I checked my E-Case the next day, It ONLY showed the status of my current file (APP RECEIVED). And my past app which was withdrawn, vanished again.

Question: What to make of this? I heard they don't touch any files in the first 5-8 months for eligibility? But here obviously indicates some sort of an activity? Or it is just a system glitch....ANY GUESSES??? CURIOUS

It can take up to 30 days after ecas "in process" to get any correspondence from LVO.

My wife gave her interview on 12th June.

There are 2 sides to the coin here;

1) you can explain to cic that you would like to perform reception in Canada (when wife arrives with visa).

2) CIC can request you to perform rukhsati before her obtaining visa.

If your request is approved (sometimes they do), then all is well. If they don't approve then you will have to do rukhsati and provide proof. (In pakistan)

They should be contacting you soon to update your file (remed and other docs).

Original docs can be sent before visa issuance and in some cases after.
