I wouldn't suggest it as the medical centers require the letter sent from CHC to proceed with the medical request. Plus with all the files being shuffled around, your best bet is to just wait it out and let them contact you. Don't jump the guns, your time will come....

hve u already got re-med ?? if yes, then u will get ppr soon as when ecase changes to in process within a month or so you get ppr.. just like we did..

yes husband case remedical+pacc+forms updated aug 2013, and ecas changed to in process march 14,2014, but i contacted MP on 17 march and she said file is in queue for background checks. I hope to get PR soon, you got PPR exact 1 month after ecas changed to in process?

i dont understand why they changed ecas for few files on same day? mine is husband case applied feb 2012, remedical+pacc+forms updated aug 2013, ecas changed to in process March 14,2014

i also received remedical request in december 2013 ..i want to ask u tat your files also moved to LONDON office ???or stil in islamabad

according to my caip notes my file is still in Islamabad. I've emailed London to verify this but have not gotten a response in almost 2 weeks

Send your job letter, your bank statement. My wife did not send any bank statement on her name since she had joint account with her father. I sent all my Canadian documents to my wife via email. I attach invitation letter notorized. For the bank statement just show enough to cover the stay of you spouse (10000 to 20000 is good enough). your job letter is more important and any additional documents from your wife like edcuation, to show attachment to Pakistan so she will return back after visit.

Just an aside, if you go to 680news.com and scroll down they have a Today's poll in which they ask "If a provincial election were held today, which party would you vote for?" the results are:

PC 48.74%
Liberals 31.69%
NDP 19.57%

I know it's provincial and it's just a poll, but just goes to show PC are very popular and will most likely get re-elected next year with or without Pakistani vote .
