TCS does charge you in advance for passport return charges so don't worry about that. As far as your PP is concerned, you sent it to the office address instead of the mailing address, but as long as it was received by Nasir, you shouldn't worry too much since either Nasir or Shamoon usually receive the mail. Now did you send them a cover letter to why you are sending your passport without PPR. (i.e. as recommended by Visa officer who conducted your interview) + did you put down your file number as well?

Well, have you received any request whatsoever? If not then the first email is sent by mistake. It should've have been 'queue for initial review'.

Actualy currently it's the high season due to eid and school starting. Low season starts mid September so that's when we are planning for + she wants some shopping done so soon

You can buy ticket now for later dates. Inshallah, I will be visiting Pakistan in December(which is the high season) but i bought the ticket in June, it cost me $1420 return ticket (KHI-YYZ-KHI)....its just a thought

hehhe.. thankyouu soo MUCH!! I can't seem to stop grinning!!..hehe..
anyways, of course I don't mind..
I got my IMM stuff on July 14th, it had been dispatched on July 9th
then I got my re-med on Aug 9th, it had been dispatched on Aug 4th
I got my med done on Aug 10th, and today I got my PPR. Since it was TCS, tu it was COD Aug 24th.

we were asked for his passport copies as well.. we sent a complete copy though. i assume they want to confirm the entry/exit dates of CAN/ PAK from passport with those mentioned on the application..

Thanks guys and just to add a note here, I was not asked for any RE-PCC or to refill Immigration and supp forms.

I know its unusual but what else you expect from CHC

In my wife's case I only sent extra supporting documents once before the initial review, then after initial review I ordered CAIPS and in there the marriage was considered genuine so then I never updated them with email, call logs etc as I thought, it wasn't needed. So yeah it worked out for me in the end anyways.

That's what I have experienced in my case too. But I would like to add something to it.

Do not stop collecting proofs at any stage. Even after your initial review or medical examination is over, it is recommended to not to send them extra proofs voluntarily but keep collecting all the proofs which may help them to determine that your relationship is genuine and ongoing (E-mails, call records, gift receipts, money transfers and all that crap). I made a folder on my desktop for CHC and kept on collecting further proofs, as you never know what kind of non sense request they send you at extremely odd stage but that is least expected. But preparing for everything is not a bad idea at all.

I don't know how the others did it but I sent a letter after my rukhsati got done, notifying them of my new address, along with shadi evidence n stuff.. worked for me.. and my address was updated within a month of sending my post-rukhsati documents!!!

can anyone please tell me how to notify chc of change of address?? ASAP its ugent plz. someone who knows the exact procedure. and done it before.

They never sent any request to my wife (its my wife's case) . In response of email sent in Jan 2011, to find about the file number, as AOR never received, got the following response

"Your application is currently in process and is in queue for initial review. "

after that i sent three emails but never got any reply not even acknowledgement emails. Only thing happened was, two weeks back Address disappeared and came back three days ago.

I would say the best time to send extra supporting documents is after 6-7 months of your file transfer to Islamabad. Order CAIPS after 11-12 months even if you are not sure whether your initial review has been done. It never hurts to see an empty page

last month merey husband ne email ki thi.. They replied UR FILE IS IN QUEUE FOR REVIEW BY AN IMMIGRATION OFFICER..
aj phir se email ki toh yeh reply aya UR FILE IS IN QUEUE FOR INITIAL REVIEW..
phir se initial review aur koi request bhi nahi mili abhi tak............ ???

Its sometimes the same. Initial review or review. Expect something within 4-6 weeks Inshallah. from something I mean something good

Well yeah thats what I meant! If you want to land before Sept 17 its quite high, and after Sept 17 the prices go down a little bit So I am in process of booking something right now for after mid sept.
