Hello everyone, I haven't been around lately since i'm not feeling too well. and wont be around till Eid since I'll be in iteqaaf for the next ten days from Sunday. I will certainly remember everyone on here in my prayers as I believe all dua's in Iteqaaf are accepted by Allah. (InshAllah) But I would request for all of you to please remember me in your prayers as well.

i didnt find anyone at this forum who is going through the same sitution.almost everyone got letter after 8 to 10 months of AOR.is there any other way i can find out why my file is still in a queue for initial review?

My wife received her first request after 11 months, Saggit bro just received his first request after 19 months. So as you can see how it varies big time. However, we have seen in the past mail getting lost and not getting to the applicant when they send it via regular mail. When did your husband enquire about his case last? I suggest you send another email and enquire about it and see if they have sent any requests because they will let you know in their reply if they did and what date they send the letter if already sent. If not then wait another month or so and email again.

If they say that the file is in queue for initial review, thats normal! If they tell you they have sent you a request letter but you havn't received it, then ask them to send it again. They normally scan it and send the request letter via email if lost in the mail.
