They want the recent activities such as recent travelling, work history, education history if anything has been changed. Additional family memeber, some couples decide to have kids during the process so they want the updated information so they ask for these forms to be filled again since it takes them 12 months to do the initial review..

haan we have submited already these all forms, but kafi time hogaya hai almost a year, us liye agr humare family mein ya aur kuch changing ayee hai for example job, nw baby born etc to woh update chathee hein........us liye same forms ko fill karne request atee ha.....

There is no timeline. Meri wife ne early march mei forms bheje thay and she received remedical after 3 months!

je 1 month hogaya....nothing on ecas yet..n nw am loosing my patience .ab pp aye ga tou tickets full hain no flights available in july....ufffffffffffffffffffff

I guess they wait till background checks are complete and then request re-medical.

ummm not necessarily, because I have also seen people get remedical request after about a week or two they receive request for rePCC and IMM forms.

Why did your process take so long in Mississauga if you don't mind sharing? Normally the file is done and transfered in 6-8 weeks...
