I have been a silent reader for this forum for a month and finally decided to register.
I am really disappointed to see that timeline is 22 month for ISB office. That is ridiculous a long time.I yet have to submit my application next month. :-[
Any way a good news for you guys.. Jasson kenny might be moving to new ministry. Let's hope this news is true.

Anyway this news of Jason Kenney moving makes me happy but then I think about it the new minister will also be conservative and will push conservative immigration so I don't know if things will get any better. I guess all we can do is dua that the new minister will be somewhat more openhearted.

Some of you might remember that CHC-isb asked proofs of residency in canada from me alongwith my wife`s updated PCC , IMM forms etc . My wife have already submitted the docs within 45 days ( 30th day ) .... On enquiring after 16 days i got the following response from CHC-isb :


Dear Client,

This is in response to your email .

Your application is currently in process and is in queue for review. We still await receipt of documetns from applicant's end.

We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.

Please note that we will be unable to reply to messages which do not include either the name AND date of birth of the primary applicant or the file number under which your application is being processed.

My wife received rePCC and IMM form request at the end of Feb, we sent everything in begining of Mar and when I sent them an email in mid April I received a similar reply as you that "a request letter was sent to the applicant on Feb xx, 2011 and 45 days to comply" And it had been more than month and a half we sent all the requested documents...

Not to scare anyone but not only can it take time to attach to your file they are actually losing or misplacing stuff too now. My wife also recieved the rePCC and IMM forms request in Feb which we sent. In April we sent in info re rukhsati after the nikah object. So then wife got a call a few weeks ago from embassy saying they got the recent updates and no more objection to nikah but that they are still waiting to get our rePCC and IMM forms Wife told them right away that we sent that in Feb and it was picked up by 'NASIR' as per the tcs tracking number. The guy was okay, took the tracking number and said that its probabbly misplaced and not to worry they will find it and attach to our file.

I received the same request from them and we also sent the same documents on the 30th day. I actually sent them an email very next day when TCS tracking showed the documents delivery and provide them the tracking number and NASIR DESP as receiver. They sent me a generic email saying that if TCS showed the delivery of documents then I should be rest assured that the same are received.

hey brother...i also got the same letter for my husband and i sent them all the proofs..and i also got the exact same email...so i asked them back that what response r u awaiting now...they sent an automated msg saying ur documents r not lost n wait for 4 weeks...so dont worry..this is an automated msg....keep the reciet with u saved in case they ask
