Yes usually around the 10-12 month range, but for me they came after 19 months

Usually they ask for it because your file has been sitting around for almost a year with nothing done on it so when they actually open the file they need new documents which are updated. For me it took longer because we were in the interview queue but allhumdulillah later it got waived.

Assalam u alaikum Everyone,

I just wanted to share that today i have received my passport with Visa stamped and finally i will be able to reunite with my wife, my son and daughter in Canada...the visa was stamped last week with a validity of an year ...BTW today is the day they changed my status to Decision made at ECAS... dont know how these CHC I walaas work. Anyways Thank you all for your help and support and i will continue to pray for everyone specially Dodge, Bestplace, Jia, Tanhayi, Mahmed, be a loner, Mayena(though you have received your passport) etc etc as your posts were really helpful ... I hope you and your better halves get visa soon too Everyone if you need any help or guidance please feel free to contact me...

Jazakallah khair, may Allah (Swt) make your process speedy. I pray that you are right and inshAllah soon I can be with my husband again ;D, its been 5 weeks since re-med and still no response from them.

Wes bhai those people who didn't get re-med right after re-pcc most of them got re-med and PPR together ;D

Well I received CAIPS notes today and I don't understand a damn thing besides officer notes (which are in plain english). Can somebody please send me the link to understand damn CAIPS notes. Thanks.
