as sum of u know tht i applied for my visit visa also coz my husband has a surgery....so we tuk a chance n applied for it n now they hv my passport....aur usay lai k beth gaye hain...processing time for visit visa is 56 days...n i applied on 11th march....n 2day was the 52nd day....how much more should i wait....n after tht whud shud i do if they still dnt send my passport bk with or without the visa???

not possible for you to get your file transferred to india

Well - someone here claimed they transferred his/her file to india and got the visa in couple of month. So i guess it is possible.

they have to give you a response and send your passport back, with or without visa through TCS, the only option is to send them an email inquiry and keep sending it unless someone responds to it

mail ka jawab wohi automated mail ati hai jo hamari qismat main likhi hai.......i think is week ka wait ker k from next week il bombard their inbox

Try giving them a call about your visit visa. Tell them its over 52 days and you havn't heard from them.

Yehi number hain. If you can't get a hold of them through telephone, then fax them a letter inquiring about ur visit visa. Make sure you write your callback number and your email and ask them to give you a call and let you know the status. Tell them how your husbands surgery is critical and you really want to be with your husband and he really needs you for emotional support etc.
