Its hard to put a number on it and predict anything. I would think anywhere from 12-16 months if the case is strong, i.e. All the proofs of relationship (cohabitation pix, emails, phone records, valid marriage certificate, Shadi-Rukhsati-Valima pix, Wedding bills, financial support receipts, etc). All we can do is try our best, make dua and leave it upto Allah.

Someone on another forum got the Visa in 8 months. Its hard to believe but its a miracle if its true. Are you the person being sponsored or are you sponsoring your husband from Pakistan ?

I can't understand these stories where people get their visa in 8 months. As far as we know (based on a lot of peoples experience here) they don't even look at our applications till after 10-12 months. Why would they randomly move someone's application to the head of the que? Makes no sense.

It might favour the case a little bit if he is a licensed doctor in Canada. Its hard to say if they would speed up the process.

Hey everyone,

Okay, I sent CHC an e-mail yesterday in regards of the so-called 'request letter' that they sent on March 23rd, which was 25+ days ago, which my husband never received. He went today to check at the post office and they said they don't have that letter. Should I e-mail them again today asking them to send me that letter as an e-mail attachment instead? How many days do the CHC usually take to reply?

it varies I have gotten my reply in 15 days and one reply was in 15 minutes...

I believe it is usually about 8-10 months for the date to come if it is ADR or 1 year for full hearing, that is what I have seen from most people. Maybe someone can give better info about this as I am not 100% sure.

That is true. I know a girl in Toronto whose husband got PPR in 9 months I don't know of it is the same girl. And about that girl she has made alot of arrangements for her husband to come. I remember she filed the application in June. So I can believe this girl on the other forum too.
