Thanks alot Jaania for good wishing... believe me mene aaj apo yad kia tha when many members were wishing us, I thought aap kahaan gayin and thought apko pata nahi kabhi visa rcv hogya hoga thats y u nt vziting forum but u back with more no. of days of PP hold by CHC. Well, Allah ek din layega ap dono klye bhi...thats great that u people r waiting for PP, there are people who waiting for PPR and remed and etc. May Allah take u out of this and may u be happy always with your dear spouse.

I do not visit so often, it gets quite depressing here.

I can understand all the other members waiting for PPR and RE-MED too, I was at that stage too.

This stage is the MOST difficult, the last moments.

CHC ISB has not replied to me in 4 months, that is why I am getting so nervous.

They should at least send me an email back with some info so I know that everything is OK but they do not have the courtesy to do that.

OH IN SHA ALLAH I will get something very soon. ALLAH SWT is GREAT and knows ALL.

Maybe, I saw a few posts where some members got their passport or requests and they were not too happy and said that they can wait or want some sort of delay because they are not ready to go.

I cant believe those comments, how come after 3 years or even more a person can wait even one more day.

It should be the second happiest moment of your life, first is of course the marriage itself.

Ye reply na karnay wali policy inki really bad hai and I think its not only with you but happenening frequently, our case mai bhi 2 times esa hua...ek very important reply to 2 months baad aaya and ek aaj tak nahi aaya jb k visa aagya, 2nd mai hm ne uunhe medical update n details di thien jo CHC person ne phone pe request ki thien and himself uusne ye kaha tha k email karden to quick hoga, sath mai hmne typed letter bhi bheja jis mai address update bhi kia....to wo almost 2 weeks mai ecas pe bhi update hogya...lekin email ka no response
thats how they go,
mere case mai hamesha hamesha ek typed letter with signature (and all details ofcourse) ne kaam kia hai.
And Jaania u sure na k aap ne email sahi format mai likhi ho as they ask to write mail with applicant's name, D.O.B and file no.? otherwise they dont reply (just making sure) and also to the correct address the inquiry one? not the main e-mail address on CHC Isb website..?

I meant letter from applicant for PR i-e husband in your case, and yes MP k through bhi we got correct status of case twice.

O yes you are right...me too have also seen such posts that they ask if their is any way to extend visa even.....O my God!!!!! well, mera khyal hai this Saturday 23rd tak you bhi visa holders mai... whenever your husband get it do write here asap..waiting this good news from your side till then keep smiling (Some previous posts...I am DON's wife )

I have sent them emails many times in the previous 2 years and they had always replied. Even some were generic replies but at least they sent me something. NOW, they do not even send me anything since our Interview was passed and passport collected.

I send the emails to the inquiry email address plus I copy in 2 other emails for CHC ISB.

I do not know what is happening but it bothers and worries me.

hmmmm idea is very nice, but we are looking on or after 17th march due to some shadi stuff in family, has made the horses ran..for finding available dates at good rate (with PIA), and on the dates when someone around family or friends also travelling, we have couple of people travelling after this date...so lets see. apka kab tak irada hai? and apko bhi yehi advice hai k around mai bhi search karen if anyone around is also travelling.

17th...hmm.. We booked it for March 10th. Its a direct flight offered from PIA Karachi to Toronto. Less hassel for my wife. No chance of crazy delay, lost luggage or being lost at airports . Its also a shorter flight. 16-18 hours vs usual 22-25 hours. 8)

Thanks Canadian Immigrant, distrust, Jannia, Mujgani and congrats to Chaand and anyone else i may have missed. Its been busy at work. Didn't get a chance to check forum much. ;D

I received today, landing papers are those jin k ooper big heading mai likha hai CONFIRMATION OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE and thats the only document other than PP and other original docs and pics send by CHC. Sealed koi doc nahi tha and so kisi pe likha bhi nahi tha donot open. process change ka to nahi pata but isi saME document ki 2 copies hain...jin k most bottom mai likha hai ek pe CLIENT COPY and ek pe CIC COPY. Photograph wali CIC ki hai jo immigrant ko landing k baad immigration officer ko deni hogi. Helped?

Congrats brother. I am so happy for you and everyone who is getting the good news. You got your passport back on the same day as my husband. Okay now I am not too worried. About four years back when I landed the landing papers use to be in a sealed envelop and to be provided to immigration officer. So I was just worried for no reason....Can I ask you if you don't mind when and where are you landing.

Hi Everybody - Does anyone know if once you get the passport back with other documents are they landing papers.. I thought Landing documents are in a sealed documents (which states do not open) which is to be opened only by the visa officer at the port of entry. Has this process changed? someone who have recently received passport back can you please confirm.

Alhamdulilah my husband have received his visa and the timeline is exactly as Canadianbear. AOR December 23, 2010 and PP received Feb 20, 2012. Total of 27 months except that his re-medical was requestede in march 2011 and completed in April 2011.

same thing is happening to me too. I sent my pp+re-med on Dec but no news yet, I send them 4-6 emails, 2 faxes but no reply....at all...we tried to contact MP but the person who is dealing with Afghani Cases in MP office is on leave till 27th Feb.
