I am also waiting and I know there is not any specific time line. The best way is to protest in front of parliment hill. If 2 to 3 affected people who live close to ottawa go together and protest in front of parliment hill. I am sure they will do some thing. I am very far from there . Now I am planning to move to toronto. and Then I will be close to ottawa and I can protest other wise nothing will happened. It may take more years. as i personally know one person . His case took 7 years to process. than

its ridiculios the cases tht were processed in 2011 got their visa my uncle sponsered his wife in 2011 and shes here and look @ us we sponsered in 2010 but no response and mine was love marriage too my parents were against the marriage but my husbands family wasnt soo we didnt have a grand ceremony just a simple nikkah and i came back but still they just dnt get it i have 2 kids but still i dnt knw wht to do im getting soo depressed being alone is really hard

hi there, i just joined this forum

I sponsered my husband in march of 2010-present and i still did not get anynews from them about hs visa he recieved a letter in may 2010 they wanted more documents such as pictures phone bills and western union recipts he sent all the addional documents but after that we did not hear anythng from them since that day we have been waiting for there reply its been 31 months we have 2 kids now i asked my lawyer of we should add the kids information and she said u dont have to add their information as they are canadian citizens i just dont know what to do im a single mmom wid 2 kids its soo hard plz sum1 give help me of wht i should do i will be really thankful

That is too cruel. Have you ordered GCMS? It seems as if you have no idea as to what is delaying your case so much. Apparently you were not able to provide them with enough proof of relationship initially. By ordering GCMS you would know where exactly you stand.

You may also write them an email explaining your whole situation, and how your case is long overdue. Cc that to your area MP, Jason Kenny, Ross Heins, and any other MP who is actively involved in Immigration matters.

The last option is the Mandas/court.
