CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2009 -2010

Today my status has bee changed application received to in process
they start working on my file on Aug 13, 2012 stupid........

Hey i can see you did your medical in the month of may do you know excatly which day you did it the medical.bec my husb also did his may 9.until NOW ecas is saying application received but you applied in 2011 lucke year but mine case is 2010 unlucky one so may be it might take more time

Guys, my husban got a call from CHC again earlier today. If you remember, he got one about 6 months back as well. This time, this is what happened:

Guy: Hello, mr, I am calling from the Canadian Embassy Islamabad
and I wanted to ask you a few things. Do you remember about your
recent medical?

Me: Yes this is he, yes my recent medical was done in Saudi Arabia,
as I am in Saudi Arabia, it was done in the month of the march when I
got the papers from the Embassy stating that the previous medical was
expired.

Guy: Where was it done? In mean in which hospital was it done? and
what was the process?

Me: It was Sulaiman Al - Habib. Yes I remember once the medial process
was complete they told me that the files will be dispatched to India
and from there they will go to Islamabad

Guy: Yes you are right, they were dispatched to New Delhi in India
from hospital. Do you remember the name of the doctor who did the
medical examination?

Me: Yes I need to check

Guy: Sure let me call you back in like 5 to 10 minutes

He call again

Guy: Hello, yes have you checked the name?

Me: Yes his name was Sulaiman Al - Majed

Guy: And do you know when it was dispatched? (Medical reports)

Me: No as I only paid once the examination was done but I did got a
text from them at 7, let me check that message

Guy: Ok sure, check it and tell me

Me: Yes it was 7th when I got the message and when the medical reports
were dispatched to India. They also gave me a tracking number to track
the medical reports reaching to India.

Guy: Can you please provide me with the tracking number?

Me: Sure, it was 12345678910

Guy: Ok thanks, we will confirm the dispatching date from our side,
mean while if were are not able to confirm the dispatching date, we
might call you again, just from your side just confirm that the date
was 7th. But we will check it for from our so I dont think it will be
needed but just in case. Ok, thank you very much. Bye.




Does anyone have any insight as to what this could mean? I'm the last one from 2010 November who is still waiting for PPR.

I'm going to fly to Karachi tomorrow evening to spend eid there and my husband will come too from Riyadh.

most likely they will issue ppr when they find out where the medical is

And then when I emailed them again, last month they responded saying application is in process and no further action is required by applicant. If they had questions or were missing information and documents, why did they wait 5 months to check up on us?

Same thing happened to me... I did my remed in march and after 23 days of remed they called me to ask that whether I hv done my remed or not ...I confirmed them that yes i did it ..Nothing else they asked and on may 2012 when we emailed them specifically asking for remed resutls ..They replied we still awaits med exams results !I lost my sleep over this...I scanned all the docs of remed ..Like payment slip ,section A form and ask my mp to email it to CHC-I ....Then the v next day they replied to mp that they found the results!
When i called my DMP ..They said it happens sometimes and they can only resend the results if CHC ask them to send ...And when we called new delhi they said they can locate the results but if only embassy ask them to!
