2. micmac101 (Well they asked many questions about our relationship. How long have we known each other,when did we get married. One was about the age difference me being 58 and him 40.I had converted to Islam in 2006 and had hard times. He was intoduced to me through an online friend I had known about 4yrs.
The interviewer was impressed about my coming here to visit him several times and my husband told him i was sitting in the waiting room waiting for my husband.
We had brought more documents for them to be examined but he said they had enough already.
The interview to 2 1/2 hrs. My husband came out smiling and was told a letter would be received in the mail. Now what all this means I don't know but we hope and pray its good news coming.)

Passport Request Received on 25 july 2012 ,
Passport Send on same day.
Passport Received with visa stamp on 27 july 2012 ,
Landed today.

Hi, here we are July 30/12 and still no news yet. I dont know why its taking so long!!!

Hey Guys
My Sister Sponsored my Parents in Late 2008 after 4 years on june 1 case was moved to islamabad office . on 15 june we got letter to submit all the additional documents and POLICE CERTIFICATES and wait for medical ... we submitted required doc on 16 july ..
MY question is .. what do u think how long will it take till thy ask for medical .. Any idea .. any guess ?

you are in the wrong topic....there is another topic re family sponsorship. not sure if its much help coz my parents n sister case was of 2009.....after additional docs there was another wait for 6 months...they said they sent medical but we neva got it and they were this close to cancelling our application. after tht we waited for 3 months and go the medical....then another wait for six months and they got their visa. so dont want to discourage you but i wud say another year.
Keep in mind all cases r different so u mite get it soon... gud luck
