my 2nd medical was submitted on 27th april,,,,ecas has chnged to medical recieved since 8th may,,,but no other updates yet

same boat as me...if you ask for MP to get a status update...they will come back and say..."CHC-I just received your medical results and your file is in que for review"

then they say...

"YOUR FILE IS WITHIN PROCESSING TIMES. (26 MONTHS) CALL US FOR ANOTHER STATUS UPDATE IN A MONTH OR SO"

I am PR of Canada. I got married 2 weeks before in my home country in Pakistan.

I want to know that whom shud i inform that i got married. Should i inform LDN visa office, Pak visa office or some where else.


Should i attach a copy of my marriage certificate?

Hi guys my wife's e-CAS status has changed to DECISION MADE. The immigration office will be getting in touch with her.

The Remed and PPR letter was dated May but she didn't get it till June. After that it's been a very quick turnaround (Mashallah). She did her Remed in June and I started checking ECAS in Mid July and I saw the medical note being Recieved and today it turned to Decision made.

I can't tell when the medical was Recieved exactly because looking at ECAS everyday was driving me crazy.

My Sister Sponsored my Parents in Late 2008 after 4 years on june 1 case was moved to islamabad office . on 15 june we got letter to submit all the additional documents and POLICE CERTIFICATES and wait for medical ... we submitted required doc on 16 july ..
MY question is .. what do u think how long will it take till thy ask for medical .. Any idea .. any guess ?

guys...i have a question and i wud really appreciate ur input...

so, i've noticed that to sponsor spouse there is NO MINIMUM INCOME REQUIREMENT...so does that mean that its ok for you to sponsor your spouse even if you DONT have a job...or LOST your job half way thru since u filed ur sponsorship applciation?? like i mean u were employed when u were evaluatied as a sponsor but 16 months later or so...u went out of work...and ur file was still in process...

when sponsoring a spouse, you are not required to have an income, and its okay if you lose your job. Also even if u have or are on welfare or on osap. not a problem. but only concerning a spouse sponsorhip nothing else. dontworry ;D
