CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2009 -2010

Asalaam everyone,

I was thinking of applying for a Visitors Visa for my hubsand - since we've been waiting for 23 months so far and nothing yet from Islamabad.

Do you think it would impact my process at all?


Side note: I received my CAIPS file ... and the BF'D DATE is October 2013????

ur bf'd date is October 2013? why thats another 15-16 months that jus cruelty
u have to ask for updates n got to MP to say why that long....

I pray that insha'allah u hear good news early then bfd date...

its all up to ALLAH SWT, im jus praying for everyone, to get visa soon to reunite wit their spouses
becuz its killing us, and its hurt jus to see other people enjoying life wit their partners and showing off on you....

so our rewards are twice as sweet, ALLAH SWT is MERCIFUL

Thanks Danny but I want to make sure that all members are clear about the new BFD because there are many DUE DATEs mentioned in GCMS, you will find the dates under ELIGIBILITY, ADMISSIBILITIES, CRIMINALITY, MEDICAL, and even under CORRESPONDENCE. These due dates DO NOT mean BFD. The DUE DATE that really means BFD is under APPLICATION ASSIGNMENT.

If you do not have a due date under APPLICATION ASSIGNMENT section, it means your file has not been given a BFD yet. This does not mean your file will not be opened for processing, your file will be opened and they will look at the file for initial review and for the final review and if everything is in order and they are satisfied they will at that time give it a DUE DATE or BFD and the file will be placed in queue for the decision-making officer.

This is what I have understood. I hope this will help people understand the GCMS notes in future.

I sincerely thank you for your suggestion and thank you for the PM. Im am reading surah Yassin and even doing Tahajud Prayer. I can't reply to the PM because i need to have like 20 posts or something before i can start PM.

Do you think applying for a Visitor Visa is a good idea? ... Even my MP asked Islamabad for the date of the interview and Islamabad said they don't have the date yet.

I thought the maximum months for 2010 applicants was 26 months - but now it seems that it's taking 3 years???

It's nt a gud thng to apply for visit for ur husband...u shud go urself n visit ur husband...coz I don't thnk they will give ur husband a visitor visa in this scenario..so u shud visit him urself..tht doesnt makes any difference..

Mashallah my husband recieved his passport today!!!

best feeling in the whole world... i feel alive and eager!!!!!!!! ahhhhhh
so he got it july 17 exactly 14 months
