I got objection on sept 5 2011, i also got letter to refill imm forms , pcc - Then after 1 week i got re-medical, I submitted rukhsati, valima and honeymoon pics on Oct 5 along with all forms, new PCC etc on Oct 5 - I also did re-medical on sept 23rd and my online status showed medical results have been received.

But Since then my address has not disappeared.. Any ideas how much longer i need to wait ?

Did your address come back yet? If i remember correctly, your wife's timeline was very similar to ayesha's timeline. The only difference was that you got the objection letter due to not enough proof of rukhsati etc .. correct? If your address came back, most likely your wife will get PPR as they probably have updated their records and if your immigration officer already reviewed your wife's file you will get it soon InshaAllah. This is why I emphasize on getting Rukhsati done as you saw that Ayesha already got her Visa in November.

Yes you are right... my wife and ayesha's time line was 100% same. The problem is that my address never disappeared since then. I am really worried how long it will take since people here are telling that their address are going On and Off... my address is same as it is since last few months. I think they haven't even reviewed my case yet.

Did you email CHC-I recently regarding your wife's status? I would say email them and wait for their answer. If they tell you that file is in queue to be reviewed by the Immigration officer, it means that they havn't done the review yet and it is supposed to happen soon. Just hang in there and don't worry. InshaAllah your wife will get PPR in a couple months.

Dear Sabii, I was under the impression that you know lot about their nominee programs as you have mentioned about Alberta. But according to my knowledge Saskachewen is the only or the best choice anyway. Otherwise why so many people went there and some of them came back already after their brothers, sisters, uncles or nephews arrived. I just met someone last week who had done so. Anyway please don't bother, If someone needs it then they can do their own exploration. Thanx anyway.

List of Provinces offer PNP:

Applications for Permanent Residence under the Provincial Nominee Program can be submitted by people who have been nominated by one of the following provinces or territories:

•Alberta
•British Columbia
•Manitoba
•New Brunswick
•Newfoundland and Labrador
•Northwest Territories
•Nova Scotia
•Ontario
•Prince Edward Island
•Saskatchewan
•The Yukon Territory

someone plz explain definition of rukhsati :P

I just copied the following material from wikipedia without reading it hopefully cheating would work :D

Rukhsati

The Rukhsati (Urdu: رخصتی) (sending off) takes place, when the groom and his family will leave together with the bride. The Qur'an is normally held over the brides head as she walks from the stage to the exit in order to bless her. This is a somber occasion for the bride's parents as it marks the departure of their daughter from their home. The departure of the bride becomes a very emotional scene as she says farewell to the home of her parents and siblings to start a new married life.

Traditionally, the groom travels by a decorated horse to the bride's house and after the wedding ceremony takes his wife in a doli (palanquin) to his parents' house to live. The horse and the carts have now been replaced by cars, and in sharp contrast to western weddings, it is typical to see a quiet bride with wet eyes as she sits in the car beside her husband leaving for her new home.

oh i see! We did that i think ???
I hope u only cheated here lol ( kidding )

Either they didn't reply you properly or they didn't open your file for initial review yet. Is it a husband case or a wife case?

My husband address also reappeared today after 3 week ... but no news from them what

It seems like they have attached the Nikkah Nama to your file and it was reviewed by the Immigration officer. Hopefully you will get the next request soon InshaAllah.

Dear Sabii, The question someone asked on the forum was if someone can sponsor his uncle , cousin, or brother. So I answered him that it can be done from Saskachwen which is the only or the best province for that purpose. The question is not about how many province have nominee program.
