Bhai make sure she have her Passport ready when she'll land in a Airport their will b lines ......1 of the line will b for an immigrant's where n Immigrant officer will going to ask where ur wife will be living(address) N then they'll make her sign the landing paper for PR.

Did you read my post? Thats pretty much everything you need to know....

Nothing much is required at the time of landing just Herself, her passport(with VISA) and landing paper. Try to avoid meat and dairy products for customs. Make sure she declairs everything she is bringing, CASH if more than $10,000. As for value, make sure she writes on the custom card how much its worth, and thats pretty much it. They ask to confirm the canadian address for PR card delivery, ask to sign the landing paper, stamp the passport, enter some data into their computer, give some information brochures about SIN and health card and you are good to go.

Oh yes if you want to bring more stuff later you can bring it withing one year tax free. Create a list and make two copies of the items that will follow within one year they will stamp both and keep one copy, and will give you the other copy. And make sure she confirms the address if they forget to ask her, as this might delay the PR card.

What do you mean by AOR January 14, 2011. Can you please tell us when your husban's file was transfered to CHC. It was transfered on January 14, 2011 or you recieved letter that your sponsorship file has been approved on that date. I think you got my question

My husband in afghanistan got a call a few hours ago from the post office there saying there is mail for him..so he went to go pick it up and alhamdulillah, he has been requested by chc-i to re-do his medical check. the letter was dated November 10 but he didnt receive it until November 24. so inshaAllah he will go get it done in the next couple of days. AOR January 14 2011.

On e-cas it says islamabad received my husband's application on january 14, 2011.
