I got a call from CIC-ISB asking whether I had done the medical. When told that it was done last month, the caller said ok, we just wanted to confirm. What is that supposed to mean :s

hmmmmmmm this means cic working on ur file hopefully u'll b receiving ppr before eid.

According to wes786, his wife also used magic jack so I guess I will buy one which I can always use here later on. and it is only $20 per year. But it works with internet and only would not work at the time of black out. Thanx to our beautiful country leaders.

they dont attach it to your file, New Dehli office makes input into the system which can be readily accessed by CHC-ISB, your DMP probably does not know that

I hope its something on the positive note soon inshAllah but I think status changes when they send PPR...I havent got a PPR request yet...
