By the grace of Allah my wife received her passport back with visa today-Alhamdollilah.

Just to give quick idea of timeline: I sent my file to Mississauga on April 29, 2010 and got AOR on July 13, 2010. She had received PPR+Remedical together at end of August. We sent passport and receipt for remedical on September 7, 2011. So the whole process took 18 months in my case.

Congratsss :)
May you have a happy life ahead(ameen)

I have a Great News to share with you guys. By Grace of Allah my husband got his PPR today. Alhamdulillah, the wait is finally over! I know it is a really tough and frustrating time to go through but patience and prayers really do pay off in the end. I sincerely hope and pray that all of you are reunited with your spouses soon!

The entire process took 23 months.

Congratsss.

That was Quietstorm who mentioned about jagjeet's health.

Because i came from my job and didn't read the newspaper.
So i think that's a pointless discussion.
Anyways I'm sad on his death. :(

khan05,

Unfortunately, no one can predict the outcome of your application except a VO. I have clients waiting since April 2010 and no news yet.

Clients are going crazy as there is only 2,500 quota for 2010 and there are more than 4,000 applications are in process for 2010 and more and more applications are piling each day.

Comparatively, in India, there is a quota of 5,000 spousal applications but only 2,500 spousal applications have been submitted for the year 2010 reducing the processing times to a
lowest level.

Have patience and faith. Her trun will come for sure.

with these time lines, in 2012 instead of 4000 there will be 400 applicants and only those who are ignorant to what happens at CHC-ISB
