I wrote to ISB CHC last night and received the following email:

Dear Ms. *******

This is in response to your e-mail to the Head of Mission regarding your husband's application for permanent residence in Canada.

We endeavour to adhere to first in, first out commitment of our department. Unless there are serious and compelling reasons to pull an application from the normal processing queue, we tend to maintain this service commitment.

As a department, it is our goal, in 80% of overseas applications, to make a final decision within 12 months from the time the application is received at the Mississauga Case Processing Centre. This is the service standard for cases within normal circumstances. The need for an in-person interview, verification of documents, investigation of the sponsor, DNA testing or site visits do not constitute "normal circumstances" and the processing time often exceed the 12 month service standard.

Your husband's application was received at our office on March 2010. There are certain concerns with the application that cannot be assessed or addressed without an in-person interview with your spouse.
We are not able to give an exact date for the interview, however, we can safely say that the interview will take place within the next three months. In the meantime, if you wish to provide any further documents to support your spousal relationship, you are welcome to do so. This is help us in assessing the relationship in its entirety.

Your patience is appreciated,

Regards,

Did you attach the "Option C" form with your actual application? If yes than no need to send notice of assessment. If no still you dont need to send notice of assessment unless otherwise requested by CHC. IMO

"There are certain concerns" They always write this.
You are lucky atleast they are going to have interview within next 3 months. Mine is waiting since Dec 9,2010 (4.5 month) still (4/14 email) they said at this time it is hard to say when it will take place.

Yes no need to send. I send my job letter & option c form for year 2009. I rec'd my CAIPS on Feb 14,2011 and as per notes no futher action is required on this. Dont forget they can always check with CRA if they have to.

There is no need to send them any proof of income unless you had a contract employment at the time of application or you got a better job in a well known corporation or with Govt of Canada only then you may like to update them regarding your ability to sponsor the spouse.

Are you in Pak or Canada, last night you said that you are in Pak and now there is notice of assessment, unless your spouse uses the same ID and confused me regarding the location
