yaar i was made to ponder about some member on this forum who claimed yesterday that he got a rejection letter saying that the marriage seems NOT genuine....cuz it was nikkah only,

even when he had submitted proofs of rukhsati and walima!!!!

Is is possible?? that they never received his docs that he submitted???

That's what I tend to believe that they got it BUT somehow did not attach it to my file. We do have the tracking saying it was received by someone named 'NASIR'. And like I mentioned earlier on the objection letter they have someone elses address listed (the file number and address on the envelope was correct) how incompetent can they be !!

i know yaar the proofs are good idea, but wat good it serves if it didnt serve the original purpose which was to NOT get a rejection letter, one can always improvise after the rejection letter has been received. But the scary part is that they didnt acknowledge the fact that information or proof were sent to them by the party!!!

Which makes me think that all of us sending them the proofs are all susceptible to CHC-i's wrath!

Yep you are right, whats the point of all of this, it's like we are going in circles !! we send the info, they lose it or whatever and reject it, now although I have the copies have to resend everything. Its an emotional roller coster, because wife received the letter thinking its finally the re-med, but then you end up reading that they are question your relationship !!

I just read it on previous discussion on the same forum and I believe this is what they are using to reject marriages, again the change in regulation which bestowed additional authority to Immigration Officers was an Artwork of Conservatives read below please


the Regulations have now been changed and are the law.

Specifically:

Amended provision
The amended R4 provision provides for each of the two “bad faith” tests to stand on its own and separates the requirement related to spouses, common-law partners and conjugal partners (R4(1)) from that related to adopted children (R4(2)). The amended R4 provision reads as follows:

4. (1) For the purposes of these Regulations, a foreign national shall not be considered a spouse, a common-law partner or a conjugal partner of a person if the marriage, common-law partnership or conjugal partnership

(a) was entered into primarily for the purpose of acquiring any status or privilege under the Act; or
(b) is not genuine.


AND

Implications
Assessing the bona fides of spousal, common-law or conjugal relationships
These changes will enable CIC and CBSA to deal more effectively with marriages of convenience, an ongoing issue of concern. They will allow officers to determine that a spousal, common-law or conjugal relationship is not bona fide if it is either not genuine or was entered into primarily for the purpose of acquiring a status or privilege under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. Henceforth, only one of the two criteria will need to be present to determine that a relationship is not bona fide.

I think he/she may be having tea in one hand and samosa in an other hand and didnt bother to flip the pages to next to reliaze that Rukhsati information is there, thus idea Bulb turn on in his/her geneious brain which is"objection"
