AOR is the date written on the letter we receive, or the date we get on the website asto when isb started processing our file?

AOR stands for Acknowledgement of Receipt and it is sent to the person being sponsored (in your case Pakistan). Thus the AOR date is when the letter was sent out to the person in Pakistan. Islamabad office have stopped sending AOR's after Oct 2010 for unknown reasons. This AOR letter acknowledges that they have received the application and is in process. It also contains the File# of the person being sponsored in Pakistan. Hope it helps :)

I told my hubby to send the passport to:
Canadian High Commission, immigration section
Sector G-5, Diplomatic Enclave, Islamabad pakistan.
This was the address which was the requirement to send it to!! Week later my hubby told me that it was collected by Naseem!! I think we are panicing for no reason!! he must be employed there the right way!! At least I hope so :o

It totally depends at what stage ur case is. Sometimes they just request for re-medical as soon as the orginal medical expires and sometimes they ask for re-medical when they are about to issue visa

I know! Lets see what happens...have you emailed them before? And if so did they clearly mention in the email that you will be having an interview? I think they must realize too many people are being held up for way too long they need to finish 2009 cases!
