Not to worry! It just means that the medical on file is expired and a new one is needed. You will probably get a re-med soon InshAllah.

same thing happened wid me ,,it means that ur first medical has expired..they ve cancelled its results and soon they are going to issue anodr medical to u...i also got worried whn i saw cancelled written in front of medical,,but aftr a months i received remed.

Alhamdolillah; my wife has received her medical and PPR today (posted by embassy on 31 Jul).. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Now she has to go to Lahore to do medical, probably without X-Ray. We need to find out if needed, they will do the x-ray after delivery.

Another question will be if they can do x-ray without original ppr, because we will be sending the ppr to CHC-I.

Keeping fingers crossed for all of this and let's see what doctor has to say. Lagta hai yeh sabh kuch ab to delivery ke baad hi hoga..

Allah ka fazal hua ke yeh sare papers mang lie hein CHC walon ne.. Ab to bas waiting game hai.. 8) 8)

baby as my wife travel twice in pregnancy to Pk back 2 Canada &
there we got our baby born in Canada which will be + point 4 ya

One questions though. I have contacted the DMP and they say that they will not do x-ray. Now what r my options. I want to get the medical done without xray and see if they clear the medical based on previous medical xray. I want to send the PPR to CHC-I.

I read, that some DMP have attached the gyno medical certificate and they cleared the meds.

Now my wife is in 8th month, what are my options? Please, base your answers on real cases.

You can try convincing the DMP to do medicals without X-ray but even if they let you do that you might have bigger things to worry about. Firstly, What are your plans for your wife's arrival? Would they let your wife fly out in the plane when she is in her 9th month or so? Do you realize that your wife wouldn't be covered by OHIP for the first 3 months of her arrival, so that wouldn't cover any pregnancy expenses. Secondly, you can't get private insurance for pregnancy reasons; they don't cover pregnancy expense for any travelling/Immigrant/Visitor Visa.

So assuming that you plan to bring your wife after the baby is born, then simply you can get the Re-medical done right after the delivery if you can't get the re-medical done now without the X-ray. If it turns out this way, you can email CHC-Islamabad that your wife has received her Re-medical instructions but she can't proceed with it for the next two months due to pregnancy and would only be able to get it done after a specified date. You can choose to send a letter to CHC-Islamabad instead of the email in order to make sure it gets reviewed by the Immigration officer.

Also, if you are a Canadian citizen which I am assuming you are, you would need to apply for the Canadian passport for your newborn baby after birth. This way the paperwork could be done by the time your wife receives her Visa and she can easily bring the baby with her. But if you are a permanent resident, then you must inform the embassy that your wife is pregnant and then you will have to add the baby to the application which would take further more time for processing.
