Alhamdullillah my wife get her passport back after visa.
below is the timeline.

Applied Feb 2011
passport request June 05,2012
visa stamped June 22,2012

It took around 16 months.

when did you get additional documents rquest?
i am wondering because we submitted docs and remedical and i want to get idea when my hubby can expect PPR.

I also received my GCMS notes and its say in interview que since jan 2012 so im just gonna ignore that for now...lol
my advise would be to read surah yaseen every morning 7 times with the intenstion to get visa soon, today was my fourth day reading surah yaseen everyday and right after i finished i got good news.

.bt to tell u one thng tht my cozn got her remed 5 days ago,,n shes frm JUNE 2010..so she got her remed after sooooooooo long..even aftr im over with my process n shes a wife case..still shes completed her 2 yrs n got remed nw..so maybe this month inshaallah 2010 ppl will get somethng gud to hear..

after 24 months she gets her remedical
ray of light for those..jin ka abi taak kuch nhe aiya
did she send anything voluntarily to chc in these 24 months ..any update ???
or any email ??GCMS ??? ect..what was her status showing ?? did she get any additional document request before remedical ??

Well thanks for such kind words. I was speaking with my husband and he said the interviewer thought that my husband was an honest and sincere person. Also they asked a lot about security questions. You see my husband works with United Nations for a little over 7 yrs and they do intense investigating when they hire someone. I hope soon we will have news soon Inshallah ....

Yes he did in fact take 1 1/2 years more info but they refused it by saying they had enough. So I guess you never know sometimes what is in their minds.
