Ok so now the situation in Karachi is bad, no cars allowed on streets for the last week or soo
n ma husband cant validate his passport, another month gone, n waiting again till monday
Insha'allah he goes to the Afghan embassy to validate his pp....

im not gettin replies from CHC, no news on ma case n now wit the situation,
i have to wait longer in other to get ma remed n ppr.....

i wish they can jus send ma husband remed+ppr by next month so that
insha'allah he can come by August......

Again Allah swt is Merciful insha'allah with patiences I pray to get ma husband to be wit me soon

What exactly is happening in Karachi? My mom and sister are there on a visit. Like for now they are in lahore but on Saturday morning they fly back to Karachi and on June 3rd coming back home to Toronto. My dad has been worried but I dont think we have pakistani news channels here.

Great news, I am happy to say my wife received letter today. It just need to send receipt proof of RPRF fees which I already paid last year.

its 63 days since i got dat letter , to pay rprf feeeeeee

i m STILL WAITNG FOR MY PPR............

No need to worry borther. There are two different file numbers for each file. One is the physical file number that starts with B and the other one is the electronic file number that starts with "F". Also, this has nothing to do with the file processing speed.

Hate it that I cannot make any plans with the unknown time lines (as with everyone that is still waiting).

Your case is very close to mine. My file transfer is Dec 2010. Let's see when they gonna make a move. The files in Nov/Dec are in limbo, even later cases moving faster.

I hear you brother. Same situation with me, should I visit him? Should I wait it out here? And now the high season has started so ticket prices shall be on the aaasmaans. AND I cant visit him in Riyadh, both of us have to fly to Karachi to see eachother.

Its so hard to make any plans with the uncertainty. On the one hand, seems like it'll be another 6 months til we get PPR. On the other hand, it could be any week now because we've been in line for over a year and a half. Sigh

One question:

Is it beneficial to report the proof of visit to Islamabad of all your visits, or wait till they ask for it? I have not reported my last couple of visits to them, my wife is pregnant now, should I send them the info or not?
