My wife has travel history too. we went for honeymoon trip to south asia twice. i believe they are doing background check which could take from 1-3 months before we hear anything from them. we didnt send them any proof, however, we notified them through email about our trips.

I think when they see any travel history, they put the files in different category where background check has to be done before they make contact with the applicant. They might even do two background checks, one during initial review and one we send them remedical UNLESS we satisfy them with enough proofs with repcc, and supplementary forms.

thats just my two cents...

well they shouldnt because honeymoon trip isnt for 6 months rite.....
if thats rite then may be i think i should cancel my honeymoon trippppppppp :

Did you apply on the basis of Nikkah ?? If no then why have you recieved this objection which is same as mine as i applied on the basis of nikkah and update my file after ruksati in the last week of feb which they would hopefully attach sooner or later

ur docs might have been attached after they sent the letters

but still send in what they have requested

husband cases have hardly even been touched

i think they r working on both as per the above chart....

I am a newbie at this forum, I applied for my wife back in April 14 2011 and file was transferred on May 28 2011. We Just received a letter from CHC-Islamabad and they asked us to provide them the following info:


IMM8, Schedule-A,
IMM5406 and Supplementary Information forms.
Please endure that you do not leae any time periods unaccounted for, pay particular attention to questions 08-12 of Schedule-A form and provide all details since the age of 18 years.
K) If you and your spouse have not consummated your marriage or had a Rukhsati celebration, please provide an explanation as to when you paln to consummate and what your plans are for your marriage lin the event you are refused a permanent resident visa
If your sponsor has visited you Pakistan since the submission of this application, submit evidence of this includimng a copy of the passport showing arrival and departure stamps, airline tickets, boarding passes and photos of your time spent together.

The only thing I am not getting is why do they want us fill these forms again where we have already provided them. Also I wanted to know if everything is in positive side.


We celebrated the rukhsati at the initial stage and recently I visited to pakistan then dubai for honeymoon. I know I have solid documentation to proof my marriage is genuine but still scared of CHC-ISB.

They asked you to fill out these forms in particular as these forms provide your personal information, history, education etc. So they want to look for any updates since you applied and your consistency filling out your personal information etc. Make sure you don't miss out any history or there shouldn't be any gaps. A better idea is to keep a copy of the forms you filled when you filed the application (Hopefully you made a copy of those when you submitted your application) and just add updates to personal history since the time you

they could have sent the letter befor everything was attached to ur file

no don't re send docs...it takes 3/4 weeks to them to attach it to ur file!

What if they don't attach the docs to my file I think to be on the safe side i should send them the copies of the package i have and mention the same in the cover letter that i have already sent these docs to you on Feb 27 ! I have also got prooof of delivery which i obtained from the TCS rep at my office ..i will send that tooo ! But i hope they don't throw the docs i send voluntarily in the trash bin ! it was heck of a job !!

with their requested doc u can mention ur voluntarily doc in cover letter!I did that when i sent my re med slip I got tcs slip and mention all previous doc i sent to them in cover letter!

no my docs were n't voluntarily they ask for imm forms or repcc but i send extra docs along with requested docs like pay stub ,pics,visit proof etc etc..after few days i got remed so along with med slip I got tcs acknowledgement slip and mention all the previous docs in med cover letter!
