HEY EVERYONE!! I NEED TO ASK A VERY IMPORTANT QUESTION IMMIGRATION RELATED. i have 20 days or so left to submit my re pcc forms, now the only problem that we hadnt considered before is that my passport and cnic hasnt been changed since my marriage, so my relationship status etc is still single in that. plus my passport expires in may. but there isnt much time and we do not want to delay the process any further and are sending everything soon along with my current passport and cnic copy, then i will get the new cnic and passport for when they ask for my passport in the final stage and give them the new one. now, my question is will they object to this?? and can they reject my forms on the basis that i havnt made a new one and changed my status? please any help wud be really appreciated. especially the senior members. sooooo confused as to what to do! :-[

Fill out these two forms; One has to be filled out by your spouse in Pakistan (Ask them to scan and email it to you after they fill it out and sign it).

1 - Form name IMM5475E
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5475E.pdf

2 - Form name IMM5563E
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5563E.pdf

Pay the fee online and select Access to Information and pay with your credit card. You will have to register with them, just provide your email and confirm password; its that easy !!!

https://eservicesak.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en

You can save the receipt or print it. They will email you a copy on your email address as well.

Scan and attach both forms along with the payment receipt and send it to atip-aiprp @ cic.gc.ca with GCMS ORDER in your subject. In the body, just write your name, File number and email address. Hope it helps :)

Thanks a bunch Danny for ur detailed reply! :)

Send them all the proofs you have.
Don't wait for their letter...
Send them all the emails, pictures, receipts, insurance policies copies and updated educational documents attested copies, financial support proof, pictures with inlaws and Re-Pcc.... send them everything.

and after sending all this may be you just get re-medical and PPR request :)
InshAllah!

I don't think changing the status on NIC and passport should be an issue for you. Write a cover letter explaining them that your passport is about to expire and you are going to send a copy of the new passport as soon as you get it made. Next thing to do after sending the forms is to apply for a new passport and just change it from your fathers name to your husband name in the passport if possible. I would NOT suggest a change in your last name (from father to husband) at this stage.

In my case, as there was the RPRF outstanding, it took three and a half months after I submitted my PP.

SO many of our much more experienced senior members hv repeatedly tried to advise to do so. wen i posted got responded tht jus cuz ur case was quick duznt mean its cuz of proof n what not... Ive noticed alot of members who hv not kept upto thr cases to avoid conflicts even wen this forum is such a handy tool to get suggestions (based on experiences) but say y the delay in process...lol +1 for advising AGAIN

Changing the name on NIC and Passport after marriage is just a good support/proof of your ongoing relationship. If they havn't asked the applicant about the name change means that they don't have an issue with it.
