Assalam O Alikum, No news. I emailed them on Feb 1, 2011 regarding the status but didn't get any response so far. My case is in queue to be reviewed by a decision making officer over a month now. Not sure, how much we have to wait in this stage. Any guesses?

what is your timeline because i am also waiting for PPR. My husband's file is also in queue to be reviewed by a decision making officer.

I think we should all hear something good in the month or two because they are trying to clear the backlong from 2009. Brother one 2 ka 4 i think the embassy just randomly picked your wife for an interview but i think you should go with her when she goes for her interview because it will make a difference and they might give her visa right there on the spot. It has happened to some people in the past.

Hi,
My wife received two letters from the Embassy. One was requesting for her re-medical Test and second stated "Visa Appears" ready and they requested for her passport in the mail.

Does this mean I no longer need to send further documents? I am still worried, I will never feel comfortable until she has received the final letter.

Congrats! That means they have made decision already to give your wife the Visa. They want medical because VISA expiry is same as Medical expiry. You wifes medical must have expired and that's why they want the medical again so they can give you close to a year to land. Would you mind sharing your timeline?
