The Prophet (saw)`s Uncle Passed away without imaan (Abu-talib) The Prophet (saw) was not allowwed to Pray for his forgiveness..You CANNOT pray for a Non-muslim Who has passed away..
But Islam certainly allows its adherents to pray for their non-Muslim relatives and friends who are still living. However, this is not the case for dead relatives and friends if we are certain that they died in disbelief. In case we are not sure about the faith they died in, we can make a general supplication for those who died in Islam and hence they will be included in our supplication.

I have a Great News to share with you guys. By Grace of Allah my husband got his PPR today. Alhamdulillah, the wait is finally over! I know it is a really tough and frustrating time to go through but patience and prayers really do pay off in the end. I sincerely hope and pray that all of you are reunited with your spouses soon!

The entire process took 23 months.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Finally the wait is over for you aswell. I am happy for you!

By the grace of Allah my wife received her passport back with visa today-Alhamdollilah.

Just to give quick idea of timeline: I sent my file to Mississauga on April 29, 2010 and got AOR on July 13, 2010. She had received PPR+Remedical together at end of August. We sent passport and receipt for remedical on September 7, 2011. So the whole process took 18 months in my case.

I have one question
i applied for my new born july 2011 ,,,,to add his name to my existing application,,,,,and
recieved a letter from missisuaga office last week oct 2011, stating that his case is processed and sent to islamabad...

my spouse sent her Remedical and PCC mid june 2011,,, and my sposorship case is in process since july 2010.....

any clue when should my family recieve Passport Request in near future
..
