CHC, Islamabad Spouse Sponsorship Timeline 2009 -2010

Hey you are a March as well. I hope all you guys who are still waiting from April 2010 and earlier are aware of an inside info that came out a while ago. I don't really know to what extent the information is true but by the looks of the situation, it looks pretty damn real to me.

Agency that used to conduct background check for CHC-Islamabad took 6-8 months for all 2009/early2010 cases so since April 2010 CHC-I contracted a new agency to conduct BG checks that only took 45days. So all the background check cases before April 2010 are in the hands of the old agency who are taking their time to conduct the checks while applicant's from April 2010 and after are getting their processes done in 12-15 months timeline including husband cases. This information was from a reliable source and it does make sense when I look at the sitation now...

So that means we should hope for a quick process.
May Allah provide relief from this wait to everyone(ameen)

Under new agency. Also be advised that If the applicant name is very common whom they have previsouly conduct the background it could take a little bit longer compare to an applicant whose name is not very common OR spouse last name got changed to husband name which differentiate her common name from other's.

Other factor is (peoples dont belive normally) base on the sponsor information provided and his history in Canada when CPC-M entered the file information into CAIPS system they assign a priorty to it and CHC-I take it accordingly.

BestPlace4u in your CAIPS check for priorty# and let us know.

So that means if wife's last name has been changed to her husband's name, her background checks would be done soon?
What do you mean by sponsor's information or his history in Canada?
Please explain it so that we can have an idea of what priority no we have been given.

today my husband received an email from the embassy..and it says

your application is in queue for review by immigration officer and documents were received on oct 02 and placed on aplicant's file.

we r feeling very upset..how is it possible that it took them more than 40 days to put our documents on file..our documents were received by them on aug 25!!! how can they take such a loong time to open our mail..

???

has anyone else observed something similar to this anyone ??? ???
