. Believe me if these people have to go through these hard times like we do they will change their Laws overnight because i would like to see how would they feel if they have to stay away from their husbands or wives.

Hi Baseera,

The phone number you suppose to be calling is 92-51-227-9100 this is direct line and call them there and tell the rceptionist that it is very urgent and you need to speak to someone about the PPR or whatever you have to say they will direct your call to the appropriate department and also their fax number is 92-51-227-9113. Wish you all the very best and Good luck with everything.

Saroo have you received any 2nd Medical request yet? Also 16 months time line is NOT for the cases that are in queue to be processed. The time line at CIC website is indicating application processing times at Canadian visa offices outside Canada once Step 1 has been completed. The times are based on how long it took to process 80 percent of all cases between October 1, 2009, and September 30, 2010. Processing times are subject to change.

The time indicated on the website is just the average for all the cases they have already processed. This doesn't mean that future cases will get process in the same time frame. They could be earlier, and could be more longer. It is subject to Change, and it is clearly stated on the website.

Hi Adzees,

Yes, my husband already has gone for his remedical and that was done back in August 2010 and then he was asked to send some police reports from other countries and which he just recently sent and it's going to be 14 months soon so now he is just waiting for the PPR, unless they call him for an interview i don't know. Does any one know if they are doing interviews or not.

It takes a while in India to get their database updated with medical results, but it has been more than a month. Try to contact them after the holiday season.
