Acca, I agree with you, the Canadian process is tough on everyone. I actually also understand why it is tough (might make some comments on that later on). And ultimately, everyone has to learn to cope with the demands of this process. However, we've got a nice little community going on here at this forum, across different nationalities, even, and that's heartening and inspires courage in me and in others as well, I'm sure.

Inshallah it will be the Study Permit because I think if they had to refuse me they would not have called me for medicals and would have done so long ago. I'm going to try to be as optimistic as possible.

Your case is as clean as any case could be

InshaAllah it will be ur study permit....:)

my timelines are also same ......i also had medical on 28th July.. PP reached CHC on 1st Aug and on medical reports forwarded to Delhi probably on 3rd Aug...

Hello evolving,

I am confident on your case, inshAllah it will be a study permit.
VO is concerned all about if the student is genuine or not and your application seems enough strong. I hope they wont down your application inshAllah.
Just get your status updated as soon as you get your package back.
All the best!!!

be confident man your are through inshallah. You have pretty much mastered how to get the visa and study permit from coldblooded Canadians! ;)

Just be positive... they can't deny you at this point!

good Luck, inshAALLAH u will hear good news

Thanks for the support guys. Bauhat khoon paseena lagaya tha iss application ko tayyaar karne mein, so I am hopeful that I've gotten the Study Permit. The expiry date on my admissions letter is September 12, 2011, so they can't pull that stunt on me. (Thank God my uni has backed me up fully in this process.)

All the best to you all with your current or future endeavours.

I can see SFU people are very nice. They supported me in every possible way. Even they issued a letter by the director of my program to be sent to CHC ISL for the expedition of the application process. I just received their email that I have been granted deferral for the next intake. You are going to live your dream in such a prestigious institution!

SFU is awesome. I'm so glad they gave you deferred admission, J.

I told them right at the start that this was going to be a really, really tough visa process and they would have to speed up sending me their admissions letter, etc. to get things done on time. They were troopers and really rose to the occasion. They've got class. If the Study Permit is granted, it'll be a dream come true for me to get to study there.
