CHC called for interview but no document is asked to bring

Hello there,

my husband is been called for second interview but no document is asked to bring. He was asked to bring all the documents for the first interview including passport. But this time they didn't even mention about the passport.

What is this suppose to mean?

this is his second interview. he had his first interview at chc and they are satisfied with the relationship but they said they may call him for second due to his inadmissibility to canada. He had a criminal record and his 5 year period is ending in couple of days.

i am not sure about this interview for?

It's most probably to see if he is admissible to Canada in order for them to grant him Authorization to Return to Canada which will cost him $400 to do the application and there is no guarantee that it will be approved even if the IO indicates that the relationship is genuine.

As you all know that UN declared Canada is best country regarding low crime rate.
and as he have criminal record it can be a very big issue ....

i think batter if you give a hint which crime charge ?
